Thing about neck training, look at strong men (or powerlifters). Loads don't train neck but their necks are huge! I imagine it's good to hit it if it's lagging, but most people won't have a lagging neck. (Obviously, if you need to do it for sport, that's different. I mean normal lifters)

You have been saying all this time what should be common sense really, neck muscles and traps is first thing someone will notice all year round even with heavy clothes, instictively i started to train them hard af a while after when i started lifting weights as teenager, i was lifting for sports so gaining lots of muscle was not an option back then, so i thought it would be impressive to put some meat without adding lot of weight in areas that looked badass and impressive. Building the yoke gave me this wrestler look while just before hands i had very developed lats and upper lower body but instead i would be asked if i am swimmer instead of wrestler. I even got numerous comments for using steroids. Never got them even with repping clean reps with added bodyweight pull ups. Yoke training ftw.

AlphaDestiny I should add also that your simple(not in a negative way, more like simple but straight to the point) but important advices helped me a lot during these last years, some decades later but still, never is late i guess. I didnt changed much what i was doing training wise, keeping it simple always worked, but putting this extra focus plus some few advices when you have pretty much reached more or less your natural limit, paid off with helping me pushing through what i considered as limits. truth be told though i am recreational lifter so after i reached a state of being happy with my body composition, i retained for most part while focusing on sports activities.
