Unlike the English titles Lord and Lady, Laird is not a title of nobility even if the official translation suggests it. It is simply a land owner. But in order to actually become a Laird, you must be able to live on and live off the land you own, at least to some degree, i.e it contains hunting grounds, fields, gardens or alike, a well as a residence, so at least 5 acres. Also the sites selling the plots don't own the land that they sell to you, and thus have no legal right to sell it to you. So even if the was possible to live on such a small piece of land, you would not be the legal owner of the land, which is one of the requirements for being a Laird. And Established Titles has, knock on wood, never planted a single tree, so you are basically just paying for a fake certificate.

It's also an "Honorary plot of land" so you own absolutely nothing. The physical "certificate" thingy is also extra so by the end of paying for everything you've spent over $200ish for... someone to "maybe" plant a tree somewhere, probably not on that plot.

You mixed up Togo with Tonga. The place you showed on the map was Togo. The location you describe is Tonga which is a Pacific Island nation. Also. Niue is part of New Zealand and New Caledonia is part of France. And I have heard of all of these places and can locate any nation on a map!

I've been to Grenada, St. Kitts & Nevis, and Dominica and they were all amazing places to go. And a fun fact about Dominica it has a lake so hot you can boil an egg in it.

Please have a look into Established Titles. It's not a legitimate law. You can't use "lord" or "lady" officially just anywhere, you get what is called a "souvenir plot" which is not protected under Scottish law. It belongs by law to the landlord who sold it.

i went to Dominica about 25 yrs ago, we were supposed to go to Grenada, but it was ripped apart from a hurricane. Dominica was beautiful, trafalga falls was too, there a 2 waterfalls next to each other, and a bunch of locals were jumping from the top of one in to a lake below.they dont get many tourists and was no plumbing at the time though. they filmed an episode of naked and afrasd there also

My kid brother went to Ross University there, one of the world's most Intensive Prestigious Medical Colleges (now relocated to Bahama due to Hurricane wipeout) 😢 him & his young family lived there for the time he attended, was awarded the Prestigious President's College Honor 3 years in a row! He could be a Doctor ANYWHERE in the world, naming his own price of salary! 😱 Dominica is very Beautiful, Natural Waterfalls, Black Sandy Volcanic Beaches, Clear blue water, snorkeling & diving, Sea fishing, friendly people,,,the Lionfish in an invasive species there, so it's 'open season' year round, fish/kill/eat as many as you want,,,unlimited!

Togo is on the Ivory Coast. The main language is French. While there are some islands off the coast, the country has benefited from the Chinese road building efforts to access their ores, cutting back the time it takes to get there. It has two hospital compounds that serve the people who live there.

As a geography buff, I actually know ALL of these countries. For #14, it’s actually just called “Brunei” and the “Darussalam” part is a formal part of its name. For #9, it’s actually named Tonga, not Togo. For numbers #5 and #4, I would not recommend any travel to Benin or Burkina Faso, especially since they’re a bit war torn.

I’ve heard of a few of these countries actually. In high school, I was a nerd when it came to places that either don’t exist anymore or most haven’t heard of I guess is the way to put it. It started with Seychelles and it spun from there. Also, sadly the sponsor here has scammed so many KZbinrs. You’re not alone, but it is a big scam going on right now. It’s sad how convincing the scam is too.

I know that you apologized for the pronunciation of some of these nations, but I'd like to take the opportunity to correct you about some of these, especially in the backdrop as a proud St. Vincent and the Grenadines 🇻🇨 and Caribbean citizen, just so you know: 1. Nevis is pronounced "NEE-vis". 2. Grenada is pronounced "gre-NAY-da", not Gra-na-da. 3. Dominica is pronounced "Domi'ni-ka". 4. St. Kitts and Nevis is THE smallest sovereign state in the western hemisphere (261 km² and about 50,000 people), not Grenada (348.5 km² and about 125,000 people).

Beautiful places Mike, but I HAVE heard of 90% or more of them. And I'm not a true traveler! I have lived in NC & KY thanks to Uncle Sam, also Europe & taken short bus tours to several countries, but not exactly a Grand Tour! For instance, when we went to Italy, we could see the border gates from the parking lot! So MAYBE 200 yd in-country. My home is GA, but I've also I've in IL & AZ. I've set foot in every state east of the Mississippi except RI, plus in TX & NM. I noticed most, if not all of the places on your list are in the South Pacific, Caribbean, & Africa. I'd like to add one from Europe. Liechtenstein. A small, mountainous country hidden between Austria & Switzerland. I was there on a bus tour on the 4th of July & we threw snowballs at each other. As everywhere I've seen in the Alps, it is a beautiful place. If I were to inherit Donald's or Elon's money, I think I'd move there!

timor-leste (not sure of the spelling) and Niue are theonly ones i hadn't heard the names of. i had heard the name of comoros but knew nothing about it. Some of the other places are Commonwealth countries.

East Timor was in the news for a while years ago so it might ring bells, Niue is simply a small place forgotten about by everyone except the locals
