Wow that brings back memories! Loved that album, used to play Mind Transplant as a power trio back in the day! Bolin was a true artist, Mouzon a monster behind the kit. Caught Coryell and Mouzon on the 'Back Together Again' tour in Chicago at the Ivanhoe in the late 70's. Smokin! Thanks Dave!

Songs like this are necessary. Not everything needs to be technically perfect. From my experience gigging. Songs like this get people to order drinks and dance. Thus getting more revenue for the venue. Thus helping your band play again. Remember mysic is supposed to communicate with the listeners. Not always showcase virtuosity... sometimes is cool. But not always

Cobham 's "Spectrum" album is great 👍 but always preferred Alphonso's "Mind Transplant" especially considering Tommy Bolin.
