The Lost World Jurassic Park 2 According To A Fox, John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) summons chaos theorist Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) to his home with some startling information -- while nearly everything at his Jurassic Park had been destroyed, his engineers happened to have a second site, where other dinosaurs were kept in hiding. It seems thedinosaurs on the second island are alive and well and even breeding; and Hammond wants Malcolm to observe and document the reptiles before Hammond's financiers can get to them.

Fun fact: the scene where the T-rex cripples Ludlow and lets the baby kill him is actually how some predatory animals do things. They will give their child an injured prey animal so that they can practice their skills in a controlled environment.

If I remember correctly in the book the main spent quite some time carried around inside the T Rexs mouth, at least a chapter or 2 and then dumped in the nest. And while it wasn't a graphic scene, it did just enough at explaining his pain and his thoughts as the 3 babies started feeding.

There's a PC game called Jurassic Park: Chaos Island. They got the same actors back to voice their characters: Hammond, Malcolm, Sarah, Kelly, Nick, and Eddie. The game is very different from the movie, and Eddie points this out. "Didn't I die? In the movie I died."

I also should've said, for those who don't know, that it's a Lost World RTS (Real Time Strategy), with the dinosaurs as your army. Another good game, despite its problems, is Jurassic Park: Trespasser, a first-person shooter/puzzle solver that really goes into the story of Site B and how Hammond created everything.

There was a lot of busting out with the power of love in this movie, from Ian rescuing Sara, Kelly trying to hold on to her father's attention, some humans attempting to free the animals from capitalism & bad living conditions, some other humans attempting to save a business, and all the way over to dinosaur parents stopping at nothing to save their baby. The one thing I never understood is why or how did all the people die on the cargo ship and how it resulted in the said ship crashing at the very exact spot where it was supposed to dock.

To my knowledge it was tiger raptors that ate the crew and then T-Rex ate the raptors. The tiger raptors sneak onto the boat was a deleted scene don’t know if it was filmed but was the initial plan. The other part is we don’t see the entire damage of the boat so the bull T-Rex could have eaten the entire crew before it was trapped into the cargo hold. For boat crashing into dock I am going with auto pilot. Ingen had installed it on the boat because they were rich and spared no expense.

@@Winterfur1 It was confirmed to be raptors. It never got filemd, but was storyboarded and if you dig enough you can find it on some cult websites. The Trex killing the crew idea is impossible, because if it killed the crew, how did the cargo hold doros close AFTER it? cant say there was some person still alive because he clearly see the severed arm OF the guy that closed it. The whole scene is just stupidly done and a big oversight by the film crew.

Arjit was his friend who warned Roland about going to the island but he insisted. In the original script draft Arjit survived cause he stayed with Roland and Lutlow. Lutlow accompanies Roland to hunt the buck and got the same ending. Lutlow also was the one who broke the baby Rex's leg and Arjit has an unused death scene where he stands in the field and all the grass is moving around him.

Roland Tenbo is by far my favorite character in the franchise. I love recreating and playing as versions of him in tabletops, like Call of Cthulhu and D&D 5E. As a fun fact, the weapon that he brought was not a shotgun but a 700 Nitro Express. It's a big enough rifle that if you tried to modify it, you'd have to register it as artillery.

I’m guessing the scene with the dog in San Diego is the reason you now check every horror movie to see if the dog dies (at least when there is a dog). I didn’t actually notice the green-screen goofs when i watch the movies, and certainly didn’t notice the body switch with Kelly. The thing with Eddie’s death is, it’s a lot more hard-hitting when you realise he was still alive when both Rexes started tugging, the bite to his torso didn’t kill him. I really hope dominion isn’t just a rehash of JP3, that was the weakest film in the franchise. Loved the screaming montage :P

A head canon that i have that comes from the deleted scenes, is that in said deleted scene, Roland is in Kenya jsut doing Roland things, and we come to find that hes given up game hunting, but Ajay comes to find him and tells him about the Trex. Roland was a game hunter in Kenya, and who else had spent time in Kenya? Robert Muldoon, who was the head warden in Hammonds game preserve. I think that Roland gave up game hunting after he heard about Muldoons death as a sign of respect, because while i get Kenyas not exactly a tiny place, they surely would have crossed paths a few times.

5:17, there was a deleted bar fight scene involving Roland Tembo and a rude tourist picking on the locals. Roland beats the hell out of guy and in the original screenplay, he tells the tourist should he come back here again, he'll break him arms and legs and make it look like a bloody accident. Roland's friend Ajay asks him if he's interested in this expeditions quarry. Roland says:" Ajay go up to my ranch, take a look around the trophy room and tell me what kind of quarry you think could possibly be of any interest to me." This scene can be found on the 2000 TV cut that aired on the he Fox network.

In my experience, the only time the "glass window" scene was done well enough to excuse it being repeated was in the show 9-1-1 (the first one), wherein it was a man who was stuck against the window in a section of a building that had partially come away due to an earthquake, and rather than any single heavy object falling it was just the man's own weight that caused it to give way after a couple minutes (which tbh is more realistic), and the only reason the other person in that room survived was because the fire & rescue crew got to her and got a proper harness on her, at which point the "scaling their way back up to safety" was actually justified.

I remember seeing this in theaters as a small child when it came out and I was ecstatic going in and coming out of the theater. Pretty sure we went to Burger King right before or right after that and I ended up getting the Stegosaurus watch from their kids meal. Also got the bouncy ball from... was it Kellogs? General Mills? At first I hated this movie when I saw it in theaters, because my favorite character, Alan Grant, wasn't in it, and also Sam Neill was too busy making that crazy Sci Fi Horror film EVENT HORIZON. Anyway, this film made $653 million dollars against a $75 million dollar budget. It received mixed reviews but it's now Considered a cult classic and considered to be the best Jurassic sequel.

I'm surprised Alteori didn't mention the part where the T-Rex Buck eats the dog during its rampage in San Diego! Personally I was never bothered by the gymnastics scene or the part with the Buck rampaging in San Diego as its meant to show how Ludlow was an idiot for bringing a T-Rex to the mainland! At least Masarani was smart enough to create a new park on the original island (albeit said island had an active volcano)! Also I'd like to point out there is a cut scene where Ludlow while drunk on the island is the one responsible for breaking the baby T-Rex's leg which is why the baby was weary of him before daddy taught him how to hunt!

I think he's pulling a protective Dad move and holding on to her waistband or beltloop so keep her from falling/ moving forward. The camera angle just doesn't show it well. Which tracks with how protect he acts towards his daughter throughout the movie.
