I’m 56 and grew up a classic rock / hard rock / metal guy. AlterBridge is such a quality band of musicians! My favorite band by far of the last 20 yrs since they began; and I put them up there with any and all the greats. Superior vocals and lead guitars; and are a perfect blend of classic rock and modern metal. Extremely under-rated in the mainstream, that’s for sure.

Pawns & Kings is a VERY SOLID album from Alter Bridge. Enjoy every track. I think the best song is Sin After Sin. Great riff, arrangement and vocals, love the chord progression at the 4:54 mark.

Hes 52! Watch his interview with @CharismaticVoice on her channel. Its very insightful. It took Myles a long time to get to this point. He always jokes about how his early days with AB were frought with bad habits singing wise and how he thought he would have to spend an hour warming up. But hes had alot of voice lessons over the years to hone that in. Another key to his success is hes very strict with what he drinks, tons of water, and little to no coffee or tea. Hes also very restrained in his live performances. Not in so much as he doesnt do a good job, but he definitely maintains a middle ground between hitting high notes and not pushing his voice to its limits night after night. Which is pretty much the key to longevity.

Always got to click on the video when I see it's an Alter Bridge reaction, and then give it like when it's over. The amazing thing with this song is that it would be easy for it to be a complete mess with all the transitions/tempo changes in it, but it's most definitely a great example of an Alter Bridge song. Which just goes to show how amazing of songwriters they are. My Alter Bridge "itch" has been scratched and now I can't wait for the new album.

Was so glad when this showed up in my feed. Was hoping you guys were gonna pickup on this song nice and early and do a reaction to it and got what I'd hoped for. And you guys didn't disappoint, you reacted exactly how I expected. The 1st time I heard this I wanted to see my favorite reactors do this song while it was just out, about a week. Yes!!! Great reaction guys! It’s been too long, last reaction was 3 years ago on the last album cycle but glad you found your way back. This song was written by Myles and mainly all his vocals on this one but there will be more Mark vocals on the record. The solo on this one first 10 seconds Myles then 10 seconds of Mark closing it out. Next AB track should be Calm the Fire.

Ive been waiting for this. I think the song is amazing. The chorus and the first half of the song really is great but the second half of the song is incredible. The hard bridge and Myles' vocals right after is the true highlight. Its one of my favorite vocal parts in any alter bridge song to date. They also closed the song really well too. Guys, I love your reactions to my favorite hard work/metal bands. First react of yours I saw was of Van Halen, *loved* your breakdown. For this tune...I really liked that you let it play. I love seeing you two start banging your heads. I really appreciate your breakdown of "groove", but also really appreciate that you listen to *lyrics*, the themes upon which the song is built. Your commentary is spot on, it is refreshing to see your appreciation for music style that is (per your own self-description) not your default genre. Ok so...fun fact. The band is named Alter Bridge because when he was growing up in Detroit, Mark's mother warned him to never walk further away from home than "Alter Bridge", a highway overpass for Alter Road in Detroit. Do you see the little bridge in the album art? It's meant to be a little representation of the actual bridge.

I went to a Creed show in Sea Bright NJ when they first came out, was a small club right in the front Great show. Then came AB!!!! Same small venue and yes Miles opened the band up to another level. Both great but AlterBridge is an entire different level🤘🤘🤘
