Altered beer brown paper bag pockets | Junk Journal ideas

Make altered beer brown paper bag pockets for your junk journal pages using brown paper bags from the bottle shop. Listen to my story how I got my bags for free and check out how I made them into pockets to put ephemera and washi tape in.
These paper bag pockets are so easy to make you pretty well only have to cut and glue. Go crazy with some stamps or use some washi and ripped papers to make them into vintage paper bags.

In the US we can get paper bags in the produce area of grocery stores. If they’re hard to find, look in the section with apples, pears, etc.

I believe they have bags similar to yours to put wine bottles in. Have have a bunch of smaller bags that I was gifted from a local restaurant. They use the bags to put the silverware in when they set the tables.

Oh me too! I'm so bored of vintage photo distress ink! I'm liking coloured inked edges and pretty pinks and blues and pastels with WHITE pages! We try and make journals look old, like we inherited it from Edith Holden or something, but I like the idea of us having a brand new one made especially for US, just like hers was when new. So that ours could become someone's FUTURE heirloom... You know what i mean? I love all the aging and junky stuff, but it doesn't wow me as much any more. I'm loving crisp white lace and white doilies, beautiful fresh feminine digi pages...rather than inking it all brown. That's my current preference. But there is something so lovely about brown paper bags and Kraft coloured paper with jute twine and crochet cotton lace. Au naturel. 😘😘😘

They don’t do these kind of bags in the uk. We have to use our own bags or buy a bag for life . We don’t have beer shops neither just supermarkets and corner shops for alcohol . Saying tyrant I don’t drink so wouldn’t know if there are shops that just sell alcohol lol i need these long bags in my life haha
