@@SashyGryphyth Hmmm, yeah, personally, my, well our body, this body has a bad back, so I get a lot of regular pain, sometimes it gets really bad, and sometimes it just regular, but with my system, I'm the one that handles pain the best, probably one of the reasons that I've basically taken over as host, but with bad pain I'm stuck and can't swap with anybody to let them take over the body, one weird thing I noticed, was when I'm co conscious with our little and our back is hurting a bit, it seems to hurt less when she takes over control of the body, why, I don't know, maybe cause she's young? I really don't know, it all depends on the kind of pain and how bad it is, I guess it depends on the system you're in as to how these things happen.

I definitely feel you there. We've sort of known we're some degree of multiple for a long time, but we're almost always co-conscious, so a lot of the time it's hard to figure out where one of us ends and another begins, especially when it's more than two people weighing in at the same time. Ironically, our primary protector - Lu, the one whose name is on this account - is the most reclusive of the Cardinals (the alters who are responsible for almost everything in daily life), had an incredibly antagonistic relationship with our halfway-host Steele for _years,_ to the point of physical fights when they ran into one another, and it was only about two years ago when she actually announced herself as a protector and explained why she's so angry and tends towards violence so often. So while she has a relationship of _some_ sort with a lot of the system, it's definitely not the usual kind! Doesn't help that her protective duties are largely based on death and social traumas, which has a lot to do with why she's usually shut up in her room in the inner world. One thing that's helped us a lot with figuring out the workings of the inner world is free writing. We're also aphantasiac, meaning we just cannot think in pictures, so actually seeing into the inner world or getting visual memories of what it looks like is a no-go, so we just... have whoever's up front start walking around on the mental equivalent of muscle memory and narrating what they see and think. It's all very stream-of-consciousness, so it helps if we write it down. That's how we've learned about how the world looks on a conscious level. If you want to know about relationships, maybe you could do something similar by sitting down and thinking along the lines of, "This is [Alter]. Their job is [Job]. They feel this way about these people, or have this type of relationship with them." And just go through the web?

You know what I'd like to see is the individual protectors' definitions of 'protect'. The three I know, Jade, Ruby, and Kyle, are all three completely different alters with different experiences. I'd love to hear how they define their jobs.

I know you're not asking me, but protectors can be basically anything, from making sure the body's fed and clean, to solving disputes internally, to swapping in to the front when something dangerous is happening. My system has two protectors, Clyde the grandpa and Celeste the angel. Celeste takes over when we are totally emotionally burnt out to the point of not feeling anything, and stalls for time so we can recover. Clyde takes over when we're in deep despair, and helps us with survival and taking things one step at a time. Both of them are "swap in in case of emergency" type protectors. They also offer advice and positivity when they're resting.

We’ve known we’re a system for 7 years and most of us just hate each other, Iza even said one time that if he ever happens to act nice to any of us to just shoot him on the spot, so yeah our system dynamic is really healthy (not).

Kyle is wearing concealer on his neck and face to cover scars and other imperfections, so as not to distract from his message or cause potential distress. He also knows I'm uncomfortable with the body being filmed without makeup. I also helped him add shadows to his jaw, eyebrows and cheeks to help him look more masculine for his own comfort when filming in the body.

I have a question out of genuine curiosity..... If you were to be hanging with your partner and they switched alters and say it was another alter with a similar personality (similar age, gender etc) as the host... and say, because in your mind it’s someone you’re familiar with physically, and let’s say it was a more sexual and troublesome alter who was a bit of a troublemakers and one thing led to another and you slept with that alter and then woke up in the morning with the host. Would they feel hurt and betrayed? Like, would they feel as if you had cheated on them if you had decided you were only dating the host? Not trying to make fun or anything I’m just genuinely curious. I suppose it would be different for everyone, but I’m more asking if you were dating one alter or the host and decided to be exclusive, would that extend to their alters?

I just can't express how much this channel is helping me, I had to drop the treatment cause the doctors wanted to "cure" my disorder by fusing all my alters in one. I was writting a FULL 373838384 words letter to Kyle as of why I identify so much with him but my phone crashed and I ain't writing all of that stuff again lmao but hey Kyle! I never related to a person this much! I currently do not have any psychiatric diagnosis but I've been taking anxiety and depression pills. I have been through trauma and also been a protector for many others in my life (mainly my youger brothers) that sometimes I forget I must protect and take care of myself. You make me proud of myself for all the effort I put into taking care of everyone even when I'm not the best myself.
