To be fair re: Zirkzee not being used by Holland - neither is Mainoo for England. That said - the Dutch manager isn’t clueless. Some players are just right for tournaments like this - Weghorst for example.

Zirkzee for me is seem as that player can play more attacking midfielder and striker 2. I see him as that guy who will develop in that area

I'd prefer David over Zirkzee. Seems to have more to his game and more of a fox in the box. Also cheaper, more provenn, strong with both feet and a good finisher.

Fair enough but i think Zirkzee has a higher ceiling and is a lot more like Martial he just needs to improve his finishing and he'd be as good as anyone. Hopefully the guys at united can help with that.

Zirkzee seems to have better dribbling skills but I don't think that's what we need as much as we do a finisher. We'll have to wait and see, zirkzee is looking more likely now as Chelsea have just put a bid in for David.

@@StanKPhlaps yeah but I think we've lacked players with ability to beat their man and create that penetration especially when the opponent is in a low block yes Zirkzee is more of a dribbler and his link up play is really good he's more like a Firminho type as he won't score too many but he'd make the likes of Rashford and Bruno more effective and he could even play in the false 9 like we did towards the end of the season instead of Scott playing there me need more players that can beat their man when teams are in a low block Desiree Doue is another guy we should get when we sell sancho and Greenwood he's better than all our right wingers imo and has a high ceiling. We need these players to make our attack dangerous again. Everything can't come through Bruno. I wish we could really spend cos I know defenders should be the priority.

I’ve watch probably 4 or 5 Lille games a season to watch Gomes Honestly David doesn’t do it for me. His first touch is sloppy and his finishing isn’t Al it’s cracked up to be. That being said, you can’t judge someone off 5 games but not sure he could do it in the prem

@@SuperHarl007 David is a very good dribbler too, he's also a lot quicker over short and long distance than Zirkzee. My major worry with Zirkzee is that he's only had one decent season. There's only a year between the two but David has consistently scored the same number of goals throughout his career - about 1 goal every 2 games. Zirkzee is 1 goal every 4 games. David has never failed to hit double figures whereas zirkzee has only managed it twice, his best season was still lower than David's worst season. We also have mount coming back next season to help break down low blocks. I would prefer the striker to score goals rather than be a playmaker.

Zirkzee could complement Hoyland as well as provide cover. He likes to drop deep and Hoyland likes to run the left hand channel. I could see Hoyland, Zirkzee and Garnacho with Brunocoming from deep As he does for Portugal Slight question is why Zirkzee is not starting in a goal shy Dutch team ?

Zirkzee is a great option to have. Reminds me of a young Zlatan. Cheap too. I think he is a great link up player, for United, where strikers score less than wingers, perfect team player. I also like his small little techniques, has skills, but does not hoard it. Has good physique but lacks that pace, so his link up is something I like. Likes to play deep, contrast that with Hojlund, who plays with pace, he is a different option. Alvarez... nah, nonsense, Casemiro isn't going anywhere. Branthwaite, also another Maguire exchange... Ok, 70 million... nonsensical investment. Instead, United should get someone like Inacio, 50 million, young... he would complement United well, or better, get Diomande, great physical character. United should avoid all Serie A players... but let's see. Case ain't going anywhere, I doubt there are daft clubs out there giving him a financial package such as ours. And Shaw sub is imperative... Malacia hasn't seen the ball for the year, Shaw is 100% going to suffer another bad campaign, crap players like him and Rashford prioritize England over United and then crash the entire season, and the manager gets sacked (Rashford got Ole sacked with his shoulder). And Sancho out already man... how long is that going to take already.

Edson Alvarez just got injured. I had him in my transfer list for last season already as a Casimero and Varane backup. Don't think they will sell him after 1 season. Still hope can land Olise but need to sell first. So need to ask for time.

I think United should get Desiree Doue if we're that crazy about getting another right winger he'd be worth every penny I think hes better than anyone we've got at the moment and that includes Sancho he's that good and we should try to hijack the Chelsea deal for Anselmino we need a defender more and he's quality now and can improve. If we lose Varane and Lindelof we'd definitely need more than one defender.

Weghorst is an impact sub. Zirkzee is an alternative starter plus he is getting back to fitness after being an injury replacement call up. He was in Disney world when he got the news. At the time Brobbey was the alternative starter Koeman preferred due to Eredivisie bias I think. However he took a knock and we still had 1 spot after Koopmeiners and De Jong where ruled out.
