Can't wait to hear it . The square drive shafts are alot better bigger and stronger than the standard blackbone slim keway design . The big bores need that type of square drive system for the gears very good design .

I liked the body in the background, is it actually Carbon Fibre, or just faux look. I think the big motors are to much I like reliability and to be able to keep it on all four wheels and turn fast laps not doing the walk of shame every time it flips over. I have a Scott Finlay EVO40RC and I feel it is enough, having said that a 45 or 50 for one of my Kraken's, maybe the Dragon Hammer.

Hi bud, yes that is a carbon body. A mate Phil bought it recently. The big motors can be a bit much I agree. fast , reliable laps are definitely NOT the forte of the big mad motors... but wow they give you a buzz! At bashfest i was really pleased with my s50 ALX had a good run of laps and broke nothing. no crashes once i was running the right tyres but i did strip a wheel hex, maybe my fault from over tightening tbh. I am hoping the switch to BRP wheels/ tyres will sort me out finally for reliable runs. then its just routine maintenance fingers crossed ( maybe i'm kidding myself!)

Have you thought about using the Dragon Hammer V2 Wheel hubs, and the Area RC( I think) tyres are belted and the wheels really grip the beads of the tyres. Was hoping someone would come out with alloy tyres. The FID wheels system is a lot cheaper and you can get the original narrow or the V2 wider billet hub's and the tyre choice is endless.@@RCmaxxUK

@@ricky57365 hybrid is losi chassis and front end with baja rear end. motor ss mounted across the chassis.... then its a matter of somehow protecting it with cage mods i imagine. too early to say yet, but people will definitely be trying it

I have a 78cc ALX engine on my almost finish project losi 5ive T. Keep posting more videos like this. I just think Alx engines are better then rcmax both performance and pricing

Ricky Rodriguez honestly as I have not tried an rcmax myself I can’t really say what might be better. What I do know is both rcmax and alx are pushing the boundaries all the time. Rcmax are coming with the new 71 and 80 supreme engines with massive 3 shoe clutch. We will see soon hopefully how this performs. Alx with the mad 85cc malossi and now the twin coming... I’ll do my best to catch these all on film over the coming months. My friend Mick has a beautiful losi 5t build just finished with rcmax 55 supreme. Got to get that on film ASAP. Incredible high end build. 👍👍
