How's it the 'best'? Besides that being a very subjective thing, I agree with her, it was pointless to me and just took up time... I don't know how something can be the best part of a movie when it served no point in the storyline and failed to add anything, it was just, there.

Well it's subjective but I think their cameo could have been shorter because in the end it's not like they did much, I think that in the end there are better crossovers of the princesses like the short "once upon a time studio" which I think is a better representation of that

Part of this movies genesis, was the writers feeling like they made a bit of a mistake with the first movies ending. By the end of the first movie, they made it sound like Ralph based all his self worth on his friendship with Vanellope and her approval of him, which they thought was actually kind of insidious so they wanted to correct that with this movie.

For me, even though you don’t show it in the video, but when Ralph ends the phone call with Pen, and he just sits there and embraces himself and just closes his eyes and just feels at peace. That part breaks me so much

This movie is awesome, the amount of merchandising actually plays a huge role in this, as it makes the idea of that being real feel plausible during your watchtime. Seeing a KZbin based platform used as a key plot element was fabulous, besides all those social media buildings with Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, etc. They even made that tree with the birds just to make a metaphor for how Twitter would really work in that scenario. RBtI is a true masterpiece of 3D animation.

I would say that it is creative but it also feels like a tremendous commercial. Wasn't the main plot talking about video games and not internet brands? Not even the first movie was saturated with famous brands of video games.

its supposed to have too many references, this way you find something new each time you watch it. the first game was a ton of retro 80s and 90s game references for older people to geek out over, the 2nd movie was a ton of references for younger people from late 90s and on, the Geocities rubble made laugh so hard in the theater that i got stares lol

I wouldn't get your hopes up about some people rethinking how horrible they are in comments. Digital anonymity enables bad behavior that many wouldn't do to your face. As for other Disney films, I'd love to see a reaction to Zootopia if you haven't seen it, one of my favorites with a strong message and sly jokes on how the animals represent society. Encanto is also great, but maybe harder to edit since it's a musical.

Technically, Ralph helped teach Vanellope to drive. Perhaps, he might be able to take up residence in Slaughter Race someday. I think his character would fit in well, with the type of action. Probably, the other characters should also be prepared to eventually migrate from their games, in case the arcade gets shut down. As for the Princess part, I agree that it feels tacked on & compared to all the other stuff that's included as part of the Internet, Wide Disney World seems the most out of place. HOWEVER, I also feel that some of the best princess related gags and humor come from that segment, and the segment would feel even more out of place, in any other movie. I don't mind it. Disney films almost always have brand placement & cross promotion, but it's within tolerable limits. I don't mind it. It comes close, but it doesn't quite overpower the other elements of the story. I don't mind the movie. I kinda like it. It's a nice continuation of the story. The end is a bit bitterschweetz, but not enough that I regret watching it. Some sequels give me that feeling. If a movie can avoid that, then I consider it worthwhile - even if it's not as good as the first..

This film hasn't aged well with me. I didn't like the ending of the film due to Vanellope going Turbo and leaving her game, which was a big deal in the first film.

The issue in the first film wasn't that Turbo had hopped to a different game. It was that he had reprogrammed the game to remove Vanellope from her place in it.

Yes, it is true that Vanellope did not cause the same thing as Turbo, but we must understand that Ralph did do something similar to Vanellope, going out to fulfill his own interests but realizing that his role as a villain was important. Turbo invades a game, Ralph the same for different reasons but the point is that in the end he is framed for that, using logic Vanellope should also be framed for abandoning her game and going to another in the end that is the point. Additionally, Vanellope is the ruler and the most popular character. Without it, will the game close? In the best of cases no, but it has been seen that the game depends a lot on Vanellope, losing her is losing popularity for the game.

I wasn't the biggest fan of this film either. Like you said, it was too overwhelming and the ending was a bit too bittersweet. In regards to other Disney movies you could watch, one I would absolutely recomend is the Lion King, which, for me as a 90s kid, is one of the greatest Disney films of all time!
