The ONLY plot hole I found in this movie was that Alyssa's mom didn't find it the tiniest bit suspicious that her daughter, who she demanded perfection out of, didn't have a straight date to the prom. And in that scene clearly had a date since the king was wearing the same color as her.

This musical has changed me including the movie version. I wish I saw this in person. The song that inspires me the most is Alyssa Greene because when I was in high school I was in a closet and dating a girl at the time, I was on the my high school girls swim and dive team, in academic decathlon, Girl Scouts, and musical theatre. People would come up to me and say "Wow, you do so much, its like your popular." The word popular to me honestly i didn't care what people thought of me. Just like Alyssa in The Prom. I never considered myselfas being popular because it didn't fit me. The Prom made me inspire to go out and show the world who you are, I love the story of Emma and Alyssa, and that kissing girls is okay to do. I'm a Proud American Samoan Bisexual Woman and I want to thank you for teaching me to be who I am.
