I will very soon be leaving a long term job. It was good for a long time but the industry has changed to where I don't like it. On a whim I applied for a job in a different industry. its interesting how little value ourselves. I'm being hired in way higher position than I thought would be offered

Gosh,, that last part really hit me. I'm just like Nicole my dream is being shoved aside by those closest to me, telling me that my ambition can only be a side thing, that I can't make it an actual full-time career. This has been said to me growing up. It skewed my mind into making the wrong decision for my education. I took a major in something I'm not truly passionate but it will make those around me proud. I got miserable during university and I couldn't perform well, but I managed to graduate on time. Now, I've decided to pursue something that I truly desire ever since young. But I still need to get a stable income. So currently, I struggle a bit trying to balance my full-time job and side hustle.

Don Dodge it’s difficult to know what causes the stress. Is the person more anxious in general? Is the job or manager more demanding in general? And from my impression, leaving for another job adds more stress as well.
