Pro tip: if you’re trying to follow along and learn the signs and syntax and everything as she’s signing, you can slow the video playback speed down to .75 or .50 so that you can distinguish each sign :D The signs tend to flow together as she’s talking, just like with any other language, so slowing it down really helps me follow along. Here we go, I'm one year late to the party huh ? Like other people, I discovered you and the other ones from 'Cut' and I was shocked what people were actually asking you guys. When I was younger, I lost my voice for two weeks and I remember shopping and having that note with me saying "Hi my name is ... and because of ... I can't speak right now. Had my surgery on ... I can still hear you, no reason to yell. I'm just searching for...". After that guy gave me my note, he immedietaly start yelling at me and I was so scared, because I didn't expected it and showed him my note with the part "I can here you, no reason to yell" and he was like "Oh yeah, erm...yeah this way". People became during that period really really really dumb ^^. Even people you knew for so long and when they spoke louder you gave them a look like "WTF", which they took as "Oh, he doesn't understand me...let me speak louder" - ridiculous. What I learned from that experience was, I became really really rude during that time, I didn't even meant it. I mean, it's not even your fault tbh. You are just pointing to things and if nothing goes the way you want, you start clapping to point things out :D. It was a weird sometimes frustrating, but refreshing experience. I have a huge respect for the deaf community since then. God bless and don't let it get you down. PS: I hope I don't sound like a creep to you, but I actually like the sounds you are making with your lips and tongue while talking x)
