It took some time but I think I can create a timeline for the events from the game. Sam Colton adopts Rebecca as his daughter. He then creates a live action version of Amanda the Adventurer where his daughter played “Amanda”. The show was on public access which is why it was on a low-budget. The first tape would be Purple because they talk about the live action show’s success. This is where we learn that Hameln had reached out to Sam about making Amanda the Adventurer into an animated kids show with the promise of taking the show to a international level. The next tape is the 4th one where Rebecca is recording lines for Hameln’s animation version. Sam starts to feel uncomfortable about this, his daughter saying weird lines and talking to people who aren’t there This is why he wants out of the partnership. Hameln couldn’t let this opportunity go, so they made Sam go away. Tape 2 is where Hameln sits Rebecca down and possibly manipulates her into signing the custody of herself to Hameln, as long as Hameln has custody of the girl they can continue their project. Tape 3 is next considering how it has been 3 weeks since Sam’s disappearance, Hameln is the official owner of the Amanda The Adventurer IP and cancelled the Read-a-thon at Kate’s library all while the animated show was being made and aired on television. Parents started to noticed the weirdness of the show and turned it off on some occasions. It’s not really a big problem until Lauren and Jordan’s disappearance happened while they were watching their favorite show. I’m sorry this is really long, but I’m open to questions or feedback about this proposal timeline. I hope some of you understand this in its entirety.

I now understand the wooly situation. The Woolys are the disappearing children. And the ones that defy Amanda are ones that are lobotomized and sent to the farm. They're basically lambs sent to the slaughter. Edit: potential other theory: although I'm more inclined to believe they're children, it's also possible that it's Hamln employees stuck in the tapes. At some points in the game, Wooly butts heads with Amanda, almost like they want her to not reveal details about her true identity. But to believe this, you'd have to believe that the entire time it's been Rebecca and not any entity in the tapes, and the entity is only on the outside and the tapes service as a prison for victims.
