New Rick and Morty reaction! - All jokes aside, this episode is kinda dark, not only because a lot of people died in vain but because Morty has to learn yet again that the universe is a cruel place where "beings" are not to be trusted. Also, you never really know what the "right thing" to do is, I guess all we can do is follow our instincts and morals, much like in our own real life universe (I promise I'm not high while writing this lmao) Idk, this show is deep bruh.

I've been reading about this. I am very, veeery, very curious about the writing process for this show because (this might be controversial) but I can't imagine how you can create a story while having to touch upon soo many references? Unless the writers go with what they know, seen and experienced themselves, like, the things that influenced them. How do you write a story when you have to make 10 references per episode? I'm also guessing that some of those references are just people speculating.

What was the moment Amanda's world changed forever? OMG! Best ever! It was like watching someone navigating and trying to cope with an existential crisis in 10 minutes. At one point I was thinking Amanda's head was about to melt at any second. The thin vale that hides the true reality of existence has been lifted. Amanda will never see or think of her worldview the same way from now on.

That's the point of the Jerry joke at the end. He's completely interchangeable. The Jerry they arrived with isn't even their "original" Jerry because they destroyed that one in Season 1 episode 6. I kind of like the whole nothing and no one is special or matters. Just enjoy what we have while we have it.

I'm not pulling you out of the water right away, you've got to roll around in there a bit, get a feel for it 🐬The second season is something of a more ordered and direct showcase of the writers' creativity, we're still all over the multiverse but you're starting to get an idea of how Rick manages it, or lack thereof. You're also seeing the power of the "alt", the storyline that runs parallel to the initial storyline, and that becomes its own art form as the series progresses. Congrats on 5K btw, told you so 🏆❤️

I don't know, could be a great way to intro the show every time 😋 I'm trying to remember if season 2 or 3 is my favourite season of R&M - they're both really great in my eyes The Roy game part still freak me out and I STILL think about my life in the context of a video game...hasn't helped me do more, but i think about it 🤣 Two other shows you might enjoy, that share one of the show creators each: Community, a 6 season live action sitcom that is really fantastic that had Dan Harmon for all but 1 season. The other is Solar Opposites that has Justin Roiland involved (He's the voice of Rick and Morty), it's animated and shares a very similar art style - I really loved the first season, but the 2nd didn't hit for me

Also just to upend expectations maybe the fart creature was not evil, he explained that "higher forms of life" are endangered from the different form of life that is us, we seem to appear like disease to them. There are some ideas of alien life that they could be so different that we wouldn't recognize them, that maybe a test could be devised that counts the stages required for certain "life" to arise and this number would equate to the complexity required and the high complexity defines life even if we don't recognize it. For example for us we require a whole planet for us to appear in this universe, we require the ground and the plants and the animals that eat the plants that we then eat. We need gravity, water, the tides, the seasons. The tides are mostly caused by the moon and the moon also keeps Earth spinning steady with less wobbles otherwise the seasons would get too extreme. Gravity also holds our air so it doesn't escape into space. The planet Earth needs the sun to orbit around and to be bathed in its energy. So actually we need the whole solar system just to come about and to exist on this planet as life. I guess that's pretty complex and maybe fart shouldn't kill us.

love your reactions, I've been watching for a while now I clicked on the bell 😊 For the solar system to exist we need physics that will take a molecular cloud and collapse it into a star system and the planets, and sometimes you need a passing black hole to disturb that cloud first and the shock waves to cause that initial collapse. Also for the sun to light up and start burning an exact kind of physics are needed and so the universe must create that kind of physics first or rather the physics creates the universe. Hmm, seems like a lot of steps required just to create human beings.

Pronunciar Morty como un gringo no es difícil. Sabes decir Mario, cierto?en español, normal. Ok, ese "ri" de Mario es el que tienes que hacer. la sílaba Mo simplemente extiende un poquito la vocal o /mo-ri/. Y listo. Aunque de todas formas, al menos en Chile, por webear (bromear) al show le decimos "los ricky martin", porque suena similar a Rick y Morty. Pero eso, Rick & Morty o Rick and /mo-ri/, still the same, just pronunciation.

En general es más una schwa que la vocal normal, pero "da igual". Como Brit se diría /muuderee/, las dos veces también se pronuncia con una schwa 'ə', es el sonido como entre una O, E y U al mismo tiempo, de hace con la boca apenas abierta y sin cambiar expresión ni nada. En la página del diccionario Oxford o el Cambridge puedes revisar las pronunciación británica y gringa. Pero no somos nativos y es un canal de KZbin así que da igual xD.
