Viewers actually want reactors to watch everything for your experience, cause most of us (Rocky fans) have already watched them hundreds of times. It won't make sense if you'll stop watching at any point. There are actually 6 Rocky movies and it'll be good if you continue at least till the first 2 Creeds to witness the full Rocky journey. In 1983 Rocky is 34 years old and at the time, especially 34 is ancient in boxing and sports in general. Especially when you take into account how much punishment he's taken. Mickey made sure he fought easy opponents that Rocky would easily beat. Having the top prospects eliminate each other from contention by losing to each other.

Adrianne’s speech was the best of series. Love it and your appreciation of it. Carl Weathers (Apollo) was an American Football player, he played in the NFL. Finally the two antagonists “Thunder Lips” and “Clubber Lang” were big in the 80s. Thunder Lips was a big Wrestling star called Hulk Hogan, and Clubber Lang became an actor for a popular TV show called The A Team. Clubber is known as Mr T. With his famous catchphrase being “ I pity the fool…” Amanda thank you for this reaction. See you soon
@zh218411 ай бұрын
Glad @marlonthemarvelous informed you of Carl Weathers' (Apollo) American football background. While playing in Oakland, Weathers studied drama and acting at a university in the city. Mr. T was an army veteran working as a bouncer when he appeared on a 'Tough-man' syndicated television series. He never trained as a professional actor, but his natural acting talent allowed him to have a long career in Hollywood. The villain in Rocky IV was Dolph Lundgren, a Swedish engineer and karate champion. He was attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology when he was discovered and trained as an actor in New York City. The Villain in Rocky V was former heavyweight contender Tommy Morrison, and the movie 'Rocky Balboa' starred former world light heavyweight champion boxer Antonio Tarver.

Don't give up! You make great reactions. Best approach is to research other reactors and look at which movies get the most views. Star Wars, Rocky, Shawshank Redemption, etc. React to the most popular movies and you will pick up the fans of each franchise. People who love a specific movie really like to see beautiful, young people react to that movie for the first time like when they saw that movie for the first time.

Carl Weather who played Apollo wasn’t a boxer, but he WAS a professional (American) football player. That’s why he was in such great shape. Burt Young who played Pauline on the other hand really was a pro boxer for a few years after he got out of the navy.

Carl Weathers (Apollo Creed) was an all-around athlete, involved in boxing, football, gymnastics, judo, soccer, and wrestling. Funny enough, the guy who played Paulie was experienced in boxing, winning 32 of 34 boxing bouts. Making the beginning of the movie with him "boxing" Rocky more hilarious XD

"Eye of the Tiger" was from a band called Survivor. Their other hit was "High on You". 5. The woman swooning over Rocky that Micky chases away was Sly's wife IRL 6. Kudos to Mr. T for playing a man with absolutely no redeeming qualities. 7. IRL Clubber Lang(and his ego would be back. In movie land, been there, done that. 8. RIP Paulie/Burt Young.😇

Amanda, my 2 cents about your channel is that you’re watching ythings most people don’t really want to watch. There’s absolutely no reason why your channel shouldn’t be blowing up. You have a rare combination of traits in that you’re very pretty and funny. I love the little bits of comedy you do before and during reactions. They’re short, effective and to the point, like your commentary. The editing is also very good, so you have many great things about your channel. I’ve been subscribed for maybe 2 years but I rarely watch you because you have watched so much cartoon tv that I’m just not in to. Lately though I’ve started watching you again because you started watching more movies. Just my opinion of course, but I’m glad you’re still fighting it out and not giving up (like Rocky 🤪)! I wish you would have paid closer attention to Rocky’s title defenses that he made . In it they threw in an Easter egg . His 2nd title defense was against Joe Czack who was mentioned as a possible opponent for Apollo Creed in the first Rocky . And Rocky KO the German Champion. His title defenses were selectively matched against some top contenders and some discretionary opponents . they were good fighters and matched up for easier matches for Rocky . Their styles posed little to moderate risk for Rocky . But Clubber Lang posed a great threat to Rocky as a brawler due to his style . While Rocky’s title defenses were hand picked they were not club fighters or bums . Just top level challengers who Rocky would have little difficulty beating . Plus it gave Rocky more experience since he started off as a club fighter before becoming a contender and World Champion.

13:43 Mr T's mother stormed out of the premiere and chewed her son out about these lines, saying she raised him better than that. He had to convince her that wasn't him talking, that was Clubber Lang, and it was his job to say the lines as written. Talia Shire also reassured her later that it was just a job they were all doing and she knew he didn't mean a word. Paulie is a deeper character than most people appreciate, I think. He is very, very insecure in himself and he lashes out at others to compensate (in his mind), and this is not helped by his drinking. In the earlier movies, he was in the upper position, getting Rocky steaks and stuff, he held the upper hand. Now, Rocky has outdone anything Paulie coukd ever do, and Rocky doesn't rely on him anymore. And suddenly, tbe people around him don't seem to vslue him anymore, but only his link to the hometown hero. He's resentful that Paulie, then Rocky is now reversed and everybody knows it. Paulie is also to emotionally stunted to admit to his feelings outright very easily, but as much as he resents his demotion in Rocky's world from best friend to brother in law, he still loves Adrian and Rocky, but he just lacks the dmotionsl tools to express it. In my opinion Paulie gets a little improvement in this film and the next ones as he finds a way to bandage his self-doubt with actively working for Rocky instead of hovering in the backgroundl. But he stays Paulie, and he still thinks the world revolves around him.

@AmandaMiquilena, Rocky 3 is def an important film in regards to the franchise and the ppl who worked with Stallone. Carl weathers, Mr t, and hulk hogan all skyrocketed to pop culture fame. its success is astonishing, MOST sequels don’t do this well. . As you can prob tell the movie is different…more of the 80s iconography. This isn’t a mistake, Stallone’s as transitioning into his over the top action packed career. So Rocky 3 (both as a positive but also is a flaw) is that middle ground for the old Stallone moving to the newer stlalone. What you make of the next step is up to you, but it’s a journey that you won’t forget.

As much as the Rocky films are some my favorite Films, one of the best character studies and arc of all time but as a boxing fan - if real boxers hit and took hits like they do in these films (defense is an after thought) there would be a hell of a lot more deaths and massive brain trauma in the sport. Keep up the good work, the best reactors for me are the ones with charisma who want to watch the films and shows (not just quip about everything, not paying attention just trying to think of a joke or the worst, pretending to not have seen them so they can 'predict' what's going to happen) - and the best reactions for me are when you can tell the person is enjoying and following what they are watching, also giving an honest opinion despite whether its very popular with people or not. I think you're one of those and I'll keep watching. Good look to you going forward
