It's nice having Adam Hlaváč back for a good chat with Christian about the fandom of film and tech talk that must be included with it, honestly; and Brian is okay too... I guess... 😂👍👍 Love ya, Brian!

I could be totally off base but I believe Kang’s ability to stop people in time are powers based on his suit and weapons of the 31st century. The ants destroy the suit at the end so he goes for hand to hand. We love tech talk! Anything that makes you passionate is super interesting to hear about.

Borat 2 is a pretty great recent comedy. But I think the last comedy that is always quoted and is so damn great and still relevant is tropic thunder (at least in my opinion) but comedies on that level, that have a universal cultural impact are few and far between. I think the main reason why comedy movies that are universally loved and quoted are so few and far between is because of just how subjective comedy naturally is. It's very difficult to make a comedy that is funny and impactful to a majority of people. Also, comedy is just not as easy as people think and especially when making a whole movie that has to be funny but not trying to copy the same jokes as every in other comedy. Writing a comedic movie script has to be insanely difficult. Comedy might really be the hardest genre to write a film script under. I've never written a script but there's no way that writing a comedic movie script is anywhere near an easy thing to do. You can have a funny premise for a movie but thinking about how you're going to turn that comedic premise into a feature length movie gives me anxiety lol.
