My first experience of building a beautiful wood ship from Amati: The Lady Nelson in scale 1/64. I tried to show the entire assembling process and had fun to animate the different shapes and the rigging. Especially the planking was a totally new experience for me. Hope you like the dancing parts finding together and shape the ship...
I used a lot of Amati needful tools, like
"Waterline marker"
"Form-a-Strip"
"Keel klamper"
"Electric plank bender"
and painted with alclad II colours.
I replaced the board canons with self designed moveble 3D prints.

You are crazy! I have to hand it to you. I have a wooden model ship I started years ago and worked on for what seemed like ages and I only got the frame built and shaped and then haven't touched it since. Simply awe inspiring Tom ! I'm again blown away by the Master Modeler & Animator. The Lady Nelson looks stunning, but what is even more jaw dropping is the stop motion assembly of it.
