I have now Honor magic watch 2 I noticed the following -No faulty setp counter during transportation May be around 10 faulty steps during 2 hours journey, I had amazfit pace and bip and mi band 4 and all of them had around 1000 faulty steps at day end . -Automatic no raise to wake during sleep. -wearing and not wearing detection so always on display will turn off if not wearing it. -display auto turn off during swimming or shower Are all of these fixed at amazfit gtr 2

One good thing is that you can have more than one custom watch faces. Old model could have only one custom watch face. If you want another, you had to replace previously downloaded face.

Would be cool to hear the quality of speaker during conversation. It was pretty bad on Amazfit Verge. Gtr2 looks similar to honor magic watch 2. Original GTR has protective ring and with applied tacho ring on top it gives very good protection for the screen. Amazfit GTR 2 doesnt have OS nor apps.

I think Amazfit did a pretty good job with both GTS2 and GTR2. Adding a speaker to answer calls is definitely a plus. Looking forward to that GPS accuracy test Lim :) I only wish that US version used google pay but it's not a wear os watch so this will probably never happen. Nice review bud.

How does the depth of the watch compare to the GTR v1? 2 I believe theres NFC on this watch - I think the v1 had it too, but was useless for payments in the UK. Huawei have too much hemorrhoids that would connect your watch to your phone. Need to download a lot of unnecessary and a large apps! And do not get synchronized with the application of MI or Amazfit! Only Huawei Health and so on. And cut function - if the smartphone is not Huawei! And Huawei is no Google services.... The choice is clear. In Amazfit or Mi Watch is no such problem. There are two applications - for a variety of models and all.

I just wish it had more fitness tracking features, such as fall detection, a-fib detection, to keep up with the Apple Watch. Like everyone else, I’m still waiting on the update for Amazon Alexa to be enabled. My Mom’s Bip U Pro has it. Also, despite being labeled as being 50m water resistant, there is one big catch. In the manual it says not to use in the shower, or in warm to hot water.

What I really like about this smartwatch and the whole idea that you can easly switch the wrist with the one you want when I wanted a styish one i used the leather one when went sports used a metal mesh that I can shower in. Can you do like a test of how fast it gets a gps fix / test it for a hour walking / riding a bike and check the amazfit / zepp app stats for gps ? Its great it has emojis and music. I use the old gtr for a lot of notifications sports walking climbing swimming and the only thing i miss from an android watch is voice responses! If this has a microphone maybe there will be a option to respond one time :). Also is there a always on mode like in gtr? And what are the watch faces then :)

Thanks for the video! Very informative. The only thing I wonder about is the pressure measuring system you mentioned... Does it mean that the watch has a barometer built-in? Because if it has a barometer then it should be capable of measuring your altitude based on the pressure... And barometric altimeters are like million times better than the GPS altimeters...

Hope you can see if its possible to listen to music and change songs while the running activity is on at the same time, this was something that was never possible in the other amazfit watches even if it was via the smartphone, since this doens't use the phone i think it might actually work it seems to be using the same huawei/honor watch method.
