Garlic fermented in olive oil is our way to survive the winter here in Palestine, and the best part is the organic olive oil which is from our lands.

Do you refrigerate it? In America they're constantly warning people not to do this because of Botulism. Do you every hear of any problems with this? I store my tomatoes, basil and garlic all together in olive oil in the fridge. They basically are trying to scare anyone from food preserving when they can.

Moreover I never stopped eating because of their complained, the good thing I'm very healthy and never been in the hospital in my entire life. I'm eating garlic since I was 17 years old.

Considering Dr. Berg here shares how that just the smell of garlic kills off bacteria (and probably viruses too), then when your family complains about the smell, point this out, and then tell them that the smell of garlic within your breath is potentially doing that too, so after that explanation, then say "you're welcome".

You will have to experiment with it because the taste can be strong. There is no formula. The key is to make sure you develop a habit of doing it daily. Pour in enough honey to cover the chives. The following applies to both methods: Put lid on bottle and shake. Shake once every day to ensure garlic is covered with honey. Every day, loosen the cap to let it 'burp', then tighten again. In 20 days, the garlic is ready to be consumed.

My family is Russian. My grandmother used to simmer garlic in whole, full fat milk when we were young. Yes, full fat milk is important because the fats pull out a lot of the active constituents of the garlic. Not the best tasking brew, but it really worked, I tell you. We never went to the doctor as kids because my grandmother took care of everything at home. We were also very rarely sick because she'd nip things in the bud. The longest I ever had a sore throat living with her was less than 24 hours. Goldenseal is also an amazing natural antibiotic.

My neighbor died on the way to the emergency room, back in the1990s. He crossed over, met other deceased people, but came back. His arteries were all clogged. I told him to take garlic to clear his arteries. His doctor could not believe how fast his arteries cleared. He started lifting weights, got his GED, as he joined the navy as a teenage Dad, instead of finishing school. He got his GED before his kids finished high school. He had nine kids. He went on to community college, learned Vietnamese, taught others to be master plumbers, then became a Baptist preacher. Garlic is a life saver. He lived another decade or more, seeing his grandchildren. I have very good plumbing, as his gift. Many called him a drunk, stay away from him. I prayed for him everyday. I remember when he would be so drunk, he would ask me to go turn off his truck. He was too drunk to be able to turn off the truck. He got sober. Dr. Berg's videos saved my brother from alcoholism. He's been sober 3 years after being an alcoholic 58 years. My brother could have died, his liver was failing. Very appreciative for all the great advise, that saves lives.

I had a checkup and my doctor sent me to a specialist because my triglycerides were high for my age, and they wanted to check if I had a genetic component prone to angina and high blood pressure. I was told I probably had to start taking medicines. For the 2 weeks from my first specialist checkup until i met the specialist a second time, I ate 3 cloves of garlic every day, because i had heard of the benefits. When I returned, just 2 weeks later, my triglycerides and blood pressure had normalized and the specialist happily said that whatever im doing, i should just keep doing, because there was no need for medication. Go garlic!

Raw garlic is an essential part of my daily diet. I consume four cloves a day when I get home from work and wait an hour before eating a modest meal. Cloves are various sizes so I attempt to eat in total the equivalent of four cloves the size of the first joint of my thumb. Following Dr. Berg's advice on garlic and other topics, my lab work has continued to steadily improve as has weight loss (50 pounds). I enjoy the white board sessions that break down how what we eat affects our bodies.

I have been eating a clove of garlic everyday to reduce inflammation, treat my skin allergy and lower my BP. Consequently, my HBP & skin allergy were controlled that the doctor’s RX for allergy could not. I was afraid I’d smell if I continue to consume garlic but I read somewhere to limit eating only a clove of a garlic a day so as not to smell if you eat more you will. How I eat garlic. If you are like me who hates garlic and never eat it at all, you may do this. I chop a clove of garlic very finely, put them in a teaspoon, then transfer to my tongue and drink water quickly. I swallow the garlic without tasting it and that’s how I survive eating garlic to this day. Hope this helps. Thank you Dr Berg for sharing your knowledge with us, I watch many of your videos and followed your advice. God bless you and your family.🙏

I would like to add a footnote to my post above. 1. The mixture is too strong to take with a spoon, it will make you feel sick (I tried it). However, 1 Tablespoon in a large glass of water, makes you feel really well, a d it stimulates your stomach acid. Also, it takes two or three days for bruises and under skin bleeding to start disappearing. That really works well. Because there is so much garlic in the mix, you can keep topping it up with more apple cider vinegar as you use it.

👋👋👋 Hi Dr. Berg. My husband and I purchased land in Puerto Rico. We planted elephant garlic and other non-China garlic there. I am seriously considering becoming a garlic farmer as I am aware the medicinal power of garlic. My grandma use to put a garlic clove in my ear when I had ear pain, it took the pain away! Thank you Dr. Berg for your continuous mission educating us, the public. You are a great teacher. Keep shining your light! God Bless you and Karen!👍❤. Puerto Ricans use garlic in most of our dishes because the base of our food is Sofrito, which includes garlic, onion, cilantro, peppers, and a small sweet pepper we call ajicitos dulce. They look like the Scotch Bonnet pepper, the only difference is that the ajicito dulce is not hot. Oh yeah, in Spanish whenever you see a word with the letter j, it's pronounced like the letter h in the English language.

This is the only time I’ve been disappointed in you, Dr. Berg. Last year or so I shared this with you on this channel and the response was, “ Honey is pure sugar, garlic or not “. So this didn’t fit your Keto diet but yet today you share it as an “almost cure all “. I’ve been using this for several years, a recipe I learned from OAG before his recent passing. May OAG Rest In Peace. The recipe has kept me well and the raw, organic honey liquifies quickly after the garlic slices are incorporated and ferments for a week or so. It also makes for an excellent cough syrup as well. Another raw organic honey fermented syrup is fresh, thinly sliced organic ginger and fresh thinly sliced, organic pineapple in combination. Excellent for it’s digestive qualities and well as an anti- nausea remedy. Either of these should be consumed in small quantity but their health benefits are evident during cold and flu season. Although the honey is a preservative and natural wound healer, after I’ve fermented them, they go into the fridge to slow the fermentation process. 🥰

Don't feel too proud yet. There are many things in the Indian diet that are not healthy or relevant today. While the spice base is very advanced, the use of white rice, roti, naan, kulcha, luchi, paratha, suji and sweets are leading to metabolic disease. The spices have no effect against the high insulin levels caused by these refined carbs and sucrose. No Indian will ever give up his Basmati rice, fluffy wheat rotis, soft naan breads, or payasam and rossogollas. Eat all the turmeric you want but unless these foods are removed from diet, inflammation and insulin levels will rise and bring disease.

I came down with a very bad neuropathy . It was like a combination of shingles and stroke on right side. It took me a year to recover , doctors thought I was faking the pain. It required lots of medication and took years off my life I am sure. I have always been a garlic eater. I did the research which officially determined the cause of my problem. You must chop or mince the fresh garlic, mix and leave for 10 minutes. The enzyme and protein now pushed together form alicin. Before mincing they were separated. You can then cook at whatever temperature because the alicin is unaffected but the original enzyme ( not the protein )would have been destroyed by that same heat.
@nnotny

That's always been my understanding, that the act of cutting the garlic releases the allicin.

garlic in honey is my only winter drug and it works. But I eat the honey too, which is also anti-bacterial and anti-viral. I can always go back to ketosis later. A word to the wise: this is one of the longest ferments to mature, 3 months or more. Only olives take more for me (one year). Start it in late July with the new crop to have it ready in late Fall.

Is it literally just garlic cloves in honey in a jar for three months, or is there anything else to it? Sounds like it might be too late to make this for this year… maybe we can purchase it somewhere. If anyone knows somewhere this can be purchased, please post! Thanks!! ♥️

We have raw garlic soaked in cooking vinegar in an glass bottle all year round, and the vinegar became so delicious, so are the garlic cloves. You can also add a little sugar in bottle for greater taste. Use it during winter to prevent cold, or if you already catch cold Just smell the vinegar, also drink it or mix some with food, eat the garlic too of course. You won't regret. With vinegar I mean the Chinese traditional ones in dark colour

@Term limits Com “Education” is what survives after legislators have decided that they know best. Our K-12 education system is designed, and not by teachers, to mimic the model the Dr. described here. This is mostly because the US is unwilling to fund education.

@@iwanaknowe2380 CORRECTION : It's NOT the entire US that won't fund education. It is, and has been for decades, that the Republican Party has refused to fund education, in the belief that education produces liberal thinking. Well, it DOES -- because advanced education makes us better thinkers and doers, and thus, more liberal in our thoughts, goals, and ideals.

After my cousin told me her cholesterol report came normal after eating one garlic everyday. She told me to crush & finely chop one garlic and keep it in teaspoon for 5 minutes. Garlic does some chemical reaction with air. Then put it in the mouth and drink water and not bite. There will be no smell. Plan to try it.
