I love how Miss Venetta who was famous in her own right before John. Looks up when sweaty John puts his arm around her like a proud Mother. Before she left America she was in 2 movies, sang for Whitney Houston and many greats. She chose to stay with John as did his other backup singers until retirement. His musicians and crew all stayed. Thank you.

Venetta has a solo career, a session vocalist career, and a period as an Ikette with Ike and Tina Turner. She has litterally sung back up for many world famous singers and groups. And yet she chose to spend many many years singing eith Joh Farnham. Probably because he treated her like a Queen. In fact he often referred to her as Queen Venetta. At the beginning of his Whispering Jack tours. She would sing solo during the breaks that he had off stage ...and Amazing Grace was one of her special songs .

I saw an interview with Vanetta, Lisa and Lindsay where they discussed their various careers, and Vanetta said she would be available to work with John whenever he asked her to. She has that much regard for him.

Its Mothers Day here today so I had to listen again while thinking of my Mum. She passed in 2018 at almost 97 and she was a beautiful Mum and everyone loved her. 😍 🎉❤

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a mum at any age is tough, and Mother’s Day is one of those times we miss them even more than usual. ❤ This song reminds me of my mum, also a wonderful woman. We played it at her funeral.

I had been reading a comment from an Aussie who was training to be a sound technician and was working in a studio with John and the main technician had to ask John to stand about one metre (3 feet) away from the mic to get the correct readings from the sound check LOL 🤩

Phenomenal! Best version of Amazing Grace ever. John always refers to his back up singers as his friends. He always acknowledges his musicians as well, they are first class. Vanetta has sung both with Tina Turner and Barbra Streisand, she is a real powerhouse singer in her own right.

Venetta was a front singer when not doing back up singing with john also the other singer was Lindsay fields her husband whose been in John team for many years as musician and back up singer Lisa Edwards also is a lead singer when not touring with john and does song angels with john as well You get to see the real john personality in this one I'm not sure but you may already have watched it
