Amazing Hidden Seafood Buffet in Seattle

We found an amazing buffet in the Seattle area at the Palisade Restaurant. This gem is quite hidden in my opinion, but well worth the search as it is at a beautiful location overlooking Elliot Bay and offers an amazing seafood buffet spread at a very reasonable price.
Not only where their seafood and meat offerings done amazingly well, but even a simple potato dish called the Tillamook Gratan was done well and showcases some of the local companies like the Tillamook Cheese/Dairy company out here in the West.
I hope you’re both hungry and thirsty as they offer many great dishes and various flavors of their bottomless mimosas (far an extra $10). A very elegant, comfortable atmosphere to meet with friends and connect over a fantastic meal.

The craving for the chocolate strawberry was instigated from birthday video :-) I found out that they actually freeze the strawberries used for the chocolate dipped strawberries to get them juicier... Who would have thought! ...the knowledge one finds at a buffet ;-)

Hey Tim! This has to be one of the best buffets I’ve seen in a long time. I love my omelettes on the soft side also and would have ordered the same as you. My choices would be Bellini’s,oyster shooters,clam,mussels,shrimp,Prime rib,those mashed potatoes (!), and after I looked up Poke,yes,yes,yes.All the hot food choices were amazing. Tim, It is a pleasure to have a vicarious meal experience with you. Your voice and manner are so friendly and relaxing. Thank you for sharing, I visited Seattle decades ago and their seafood restaurants on the marina are awesome. I visited during the Bumper Shoot musical festival which was a tribute to guitar genius Jimi Hendrix, I actually met his dad in the crowd where everyone was wearing Jimi Hendrix tee shirts; he was so moved by the love for his son. Mel Torme was swinging on stage , a great trip.

Great video! I'm a little confused about your diet. You are really adamant about skipping the bread but, you eat sweets and potatoes. So I would assume that you are not on keto or low carb. Just maybe not a bread eater.

Good catch Rose! When I eat out with friends (which isn't too often), my meals are very different than what I eat on a normal basis. About 3-4 years ago (I guess it is 4 years by now), I started on the keto diet for health reasons (blood sugar issues). This was truly one of the gems of knowledge that I've found and it certainly reversed my health issues. Since then, I'm still on the keto diet and monitor via the blood-ketone strips. Since the last year or so, I've been cycling (which isn't a recommended approach) during these meals with friends/youtube; but I can get back into a state of ketosis in about 3-4 days. I'm pretty strict normally. Have you tried an LCHF/keto diet?

This buffet didnt look very tidy. The gravy looked old and caked up. The egg casserole looked like it had been sitting a long time. Saltys looked a lot better.

Love the review but $52 for this buffet is a bit tad high. Not into it though I’m sure there are plenty of buffets out there that’s a lot cheaper. I can not wait to see another buffet review in Seattle. More power!

Hey Rod, yeah, some of these places are fairly pricey. I didn't notice Seattle is getting more and more expensive. Will certainly be on the lookout for great deals over there 🙂. Keep me posted if you see some as well!

That buffet looked "okay", not great. Kind of sloppy and messy. The salad area actually looked the best.

All the food has already been salvaged on..every dish barely has anything left., I would wait for dinner and be early than eat leftovers., not impressed at all. I would of got my $ back and left.

Generally I try to go when a restaurant first opens so that the buffet is nice an pristine... It's always a hit and miss when things get busy...
