My badly repaired, broken leg, has been corrected; it's now back to it'd original length, and I'm finally learning to walk again, WITHOUT a stick, or a built up shoe! I feel the pain.... I had picked up a small Antique kitchen table. Hand cut and wood pegs. Gate leg drop leaf for 15 dollars. It had five different layers of paint and poly on it plus a layer of stain over the original finish. Took forever to strip it all off. The legs were hardest because of all the detail. After i finally got it all cleaned off. The table was made with birds eye maple ❤. Legs, base, and top! It is in my kitchen after 6 months on and off work to get her stripped of all her ugly layers lol. She is here to stay forever. This little gem you uncover is a find as well!

I have no doubt that every time you look at that table you feel a huge sense of accomplishment and pride! That is why I like to refinish furniture! We take something ugly that is perhaps going to be discarded and give it new life. When I sell my furniture I feel like I am re-homing it and I want it to go to nice people that will appreciate it.
