I made a whole roast chicken last night that was waaaay too salty so I got the idea of making some chicken soup to dilute the saltiness without wasting the meat and this recipe was awesome! Worked great. Thanks so much 😃

In addition to the chicken stock from the carcass, I used 1 boxed mushroom stock, 1 boxed vegetable stock instead of the usual chicken stock. The addition added an AMAZING flavor to the soup! Try it, and see the difference.

Thank you, I will try that!

First success with making chicken noodle soup. It tastes just like Boston Market's when they actually make a good batch of soup (they're quality is not consistent). Definitely tastes better than canned Campbell or Progresso. I like the simplicity of the ingredients here. Other recipes call for too much seasoning that overwhelms the chicken-y-ness of the soup. This one is bone-brothy and rich and delicious.

Best when you add the bone's! And also boil the rice in the soup otherwise it dilutes the flavour. Also add a little garlic with the vegetables, and skip the cheese

Keep that skin!!!! Take it off in big pieces, put it in a pan to sizzle (no oil or butter) on both sides, and you come up with the tastiest snack 🤤 Also, why not just cut up the core of that onion and add it after? 😢
@shelly701727 күн бұрын
I'll be making stock with the bones 😉 I also add the chicken after the vegetables are soft so the already cooked chicken doesn't melt into the soup and stays more intact.

Never take out the bone's or the skin! Remove the bone's later....the flavour from a rotisserie chicken is incredible! Much better than using raw chicken from scratch
