Pretty good stuff!!!! I'll be down that way in a couple of weeks and have never been in the area but have spent a lot of time in the water. I guess I'll just swim out till I see something?

Sort of - it depends where you start at. Most of ft laud and pompano has reef bands. The first is usually just past the inner buoys. The second one is 600-900 feet out. There is sand in between. Not much in the sand but you can see tarpon and rays. Swim out to the 1st or 2nd reef band to see stuff. At anglins Pier it's 600 ft out on the south side and it's beautiful :D
