I had Thai food for dinner last night. Maybe one day I'll go to Thailand for my birthday in February to escape the winter cold.

"not exactly what we call lawn at home in Ireland" probably a St Augustine type, looks the same as what we use in Florida. It is honestly more like what you would call crab grass, with a rhizome that crawls along the surface rather than below. I would say those are probably Den amabile and griffithianum.
