My dog wised up to the cheese trick. Now it's meatballs that she will gobble so fast that she doesn't notice. I started by just giving her one meatball but she figured it out and would take it and spit out the pill and eat the meatball. Now I give her three all at once in her bowl and she doesn't know which one so she just gobbles them all down hahaha. She recently had seizures which was phenomenally upsetting, so she will be taking two pills daily for the rest of her life.

How to say your dog is spoiled without saying your dog is spoiled: For the longest time our dog would only take her meds if we put them in Trader Joe's Cookie Butter. Then she got tired of that and would only take her pills in a 1,000 day aged Gouda. She eventually decided the expensive cheese wasn't good enough and now is going through a pepperoni phase. 🙄

@MrKnowItAllGuru unfortunately he has allergies, and it's best for him to take a 1 or 2 daily benadryl, or he will scratch himself bloody. I have to change foods on him regularly and sometimes the same food in the same day doesn't work. I love him, but it is frustrating.
