Carowinds in Charlotte absolutely should be on this list. It's a great park. 410 acres. Really good rides/lands (14 coasters), their 4 top coasters are stellar, great food for a theme park, great atmosphere, very clean, prices are reasonable, and their 30 acre water park and concerts at their 13,000 seat amphitheater are free with park admission. Excellent value! We travel extensively and Carowinds is definitely one of the most underrated parks in America. Nevertheless, good video. Thanks for posting.

I’m looking at either going to Silver Dollar City or Carowinds. I haven’t been to either park and I’m so close to 100 coaster credits. We did Cedar Point last year. Living in Middle Tennessee, it’s a haul to either Branson or Charlotte. Which would you choose?

I love SDC, but I'd go with Carowinds. You get their water park for free with theme park admission. It's a great deal at a great park. I'm very surprised it's not on this list.
