If the fish were to spit it out before it equalizes i guess itll come back up to the surface within a few minutes ?

Can someone explain what happened
@deediddy7 жыл бұрын
Thanks I will be using this tip. We should do all we can to ensure the fish we catch survive the encounter. Far too often on my lake I see big bass floating the day after a tournament.

Never had issues bass fishing deep. Good to know if I do. Now ocean fishing sometimes fish’s stomach comes out.

“I don’t like poking holes in fish, I would want someone poking holes in me” ....immediately sets hook in fish while off camera, thus poking a hole in it 😂

When Matt said you don't want to be explaining why you're dropping a weight down the fishes gullet, I lost it. That was too funny.

@leojeidy11437 жыл бұрын
A little better way than the milk crate as you don't need a crate in the boat. Also when fizing you should sterilize the needle between fish. This is much easier. Thanks
@powershellmike457 жыл бұрын
FINALLY someone who agrees with me on fizzing.. the last thing a stressed fish needs is some angler poking holes in it
@garyb16357 жыл бұрын
Good idea man, I have seen the milk crate thing but I kayak so this would work way better for me cause I already have a couple marker booies on the yak with me. I haven't experienced this yet but at least I'll be prepared if it does happen
@rogerdudra1787 жыл бұрын
Well done. I also shy away from poking a hole in a perfectly good fish.

After carefully determining the fish really needs more of your help then a typical release, this is a great method in windy, rainy, rough water or low visibility conditions for those who prefer not to use manipulated bladder intervention, such as fizzing. It's also a great method for those who prefer to fizz but conditions make it difficult. Thanks TB I have been bass (LM SM SPT) fishing deep water reservoirs for decades and prefer fizzing. I like the fish completely in my control until I feel it's ready to go. A high percentage of the time a deep caught fish is going to try and go right back where it came from has explained in the video. In doing so with an unnaturally expanded bladder and displaced organs (stomach and intestines- scan bladder studies LSU) is not as helpful as a pre-released bladder. I have used tag weighted release methods on many occasions. It does work. And bass are gifted taste bud manipulating masticators, they know how to spit the weight out and are not going to swallow it. Matt and possibly Tim I understand your preference but you have a lot of dedicated followers. Perhaps you can host a future vid of someone properly teaching bladder release? For viewers who prefer or would like to consider the method. Just a thought. Much Respect Gentlemen

So why don’t you just put it back in the water and let it swim to the bottom it’s self
@tacticalbassin7 жыл бұрын
+warthogmaster10 She's stuck on her side on the surface. Bloated air bladder won't let her dive.
