Hi Sandy, oregano oil with some organic coconut oil helps with toe nail fungus, you are right about acv it makes feet so soft.😊

I didn’t know that about oregano oil. The only thing I’ve known of oregano oil is it is good for fighting colds. Thanks for sharing!

This came at a perfect time! My friend and I get each other pedicures for each other’s bdays. October and March. Unfortunately I have brittle nails on one foot from a spa many years ago. Well that foot now wants to get super dry and cracked. I’m definitely going to try this and see how it works. Just regular water soaking doesn’t quite do it to help loosen the dead skin 🤦♀️ thank you!

You’re welcome! This sure worked for me. I still have some dry skin, so I will do it again.

I'm going to try this tonight, I got something going on with a toe, from a day spa pedi....and I'm freaking out!
@sandysteinbrook8 ай бұрын
It may take several times with a fungus, or such...but it does work. That happened to me a few years ago getting a spa pedi. I had some weird toenail thing from it.

Perfect timing as I've been struggling with athlete's foot that's is being stubborn on a couple of toes.
@sandysteinbrook9 ай бұрын
I hope this helps! It may take a few times for stubborn cases, but stick to it. You may want to add more vinegar to the foot soak to give an added punch to treat the athlete's foot!

I have everything that you have in the video, except I don't have a pedi egg. I do have a pumice stone though. Wouldn't that would just as well as the pedi egg? I use whipped tallow, which crazy moisturizing, so I'll substitute that for the coconut oil. Please check out the amazing benefits of using grassfed tallow on your skin if you haven't already Sandy. Thanks for the video.☺️

Where do you get tallow from? I’ve heard it’s a fantastic moisturizer! But, I would have no idea where to buy it
@yahwehisontheway50949 ай бұрын
@@sandysteinbrook also depending where you live, you should be able to source local farmers who sell tallow or beef suet to make your own tallow, if you want to go that route.☺️

Great self-care video! ❤ You have been blessed with beautiful, slender, feminine feet already & the red polish is classic and suits you well. I believe all womens' feet are beautiful - they just have to take good care of them & polish always brings them to life - a MUST I was raised with before leaving the house. I will try this tomorrow. Thank you! 😊

I am going to try this! For a toenail fungus how often would you need to do this in order to completely get rid of it? I have one toenail affected and it is stubborn even after using tea tree oil which has always worked in the past.
@sandysteinbrook9 ай бұрын
You can do this several times a week. I dont know how long it will take for your fungus but, keep doing it until it's gone. It can not hurt you, and only can help!

Mixing acetic acid (vinegar) and hydrogen peroxide creates peracetic acid... I'd be careful when mixing them both or just use them separately. Nice recommendation on the epsom salt and castille soap!
@sandysteinbrook6 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing this warning.
@Hello1tsm35 ай бұрын
Peracetic acid is usually produced in concentrations of 5-15%. When peracetic acid dissolves in water, it disintegrates to hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid, which will fall apart to water, oxygen and carbon dioxide. Peracetic acid degradation products are non-toxic and can easily dissolve in water.

A contact time of 10 or 15 minutes and a concentration of greater than 0.09% PAA are recommended for destruction of bacteria, fungi, viruses, and spores, if used manually

Exposure to lethal concentrations of peracetic acid causes hemorrhage, edema, and consolidation of the lungs, whereas nonlethal concentrations cause transient weight loss or reduced weight gain in addition to slight to moderate signs of respiratory tract irritation

Did you warm your coconut oil first? My coconut oil and all the other ones I have seen in the store are solid.
@sandysteinbrook7 ай бұрын
Coconut oil will become liquid when it warms up. No need to warm it first, just put it in your hands and it will melt very quickly in your hands.

Slippers are wonderful but it's like a sauna for our feet. Try this foot soak. You may need to add more vinegar to help combat the athlete's foot. Also, do you wear socks with your slippers? I do and I have found that wool socks are moisture wicking and keep your feet dry and warm. I wear wool socks with my tennis shoes now too.

That would be kind of gross. Lol. But no, there is a catching tray on the bottom of the pedi egg that catches the dead skin cells that I then throw away.
