You just gotta do it. I remember almost having an anxiety attack when auditioning for a solo role at school but after a while you get used to it and eventually are able to sing confidently in front of others. Just start singing in front of a small group of friends/family then maybe go to a karaoke place. Hope this helped

Try recording yourself singing and show the video to people. It might lessen your anxiety once you see people's reactions so then you have an idea of how they would react when you would actually sing in front of them. Might make it easier or prepare you for it.

Amelia Secrest I know other people have said this already, but as someone who performs quite a bit and also gets MAJOR anxiety before singing in public, I agree that you just have to do it. If it’s something you enjoy then just performing will be worth all of the nerves. Just take deep breaths and try to distract your mind before the performance so you don’t freak out. 🙂

I felt the same way for a while, I was scared to sing even for my best friend who was in choir but I spent lots of time with her singing and became more comfortable and confident in my voice. If you are fully confident in the sound you are producing it will be easier to sing in front of others. Just practice alone or with someone you are comfortable with.
