Wow! I own a modern body shop with all the latest tools and equipment including a frame straitening machine and two down draft paint booths. These guys did with minimal tools and working outside what we do in a modern facility. I would hire these guys in a minute. Great job fellows!

If in the west insurance companies did this extent of repairs to restore your damaged truck imagine your insurance premiums they would skyrocket,,,it's cheaper to write off the truck,,,but I do admire the skills of these people,,no hi vis no fancy machinery very clever!

These guys are incredible. My only major concern is that there should be basic safety equipment such as dark eye protection for the welder (full face mask better) and respirator for the painter. Also, latex gloves should be worn on all repairs on cars because of the heavy metals such as cadmium which are picked up by rubber tires from engine oil on the pavement etc.

They don't care about any of that over there. There are no standards for safety, enviromental concerns, food quality, etc. Just look at the smog and trash everywhere, the sun can barely shine through. they're the modern equivalent of cavemen.

Is amazing what inexpensive labour hours and lack of regulation can do to a totalled truck! BTW, I'm selling an old truck tractor: it's low mileage, 4WD, recently serviced and in very good condition (the paint even looks brand-new), used only for local routes, very reliable, single owner (original owner passed away in a tragic accident), etc.

I've been wondering the same thing. Carrying around like 100kg of large colourful decorations can't be good for fuel economy. It's also exacerbating the problem of them grossly overloading these trucks to structural failure.
