Managed to avoid the update on my cube,still using a previous version so adb working and all is good but if anything changes I've got my formula Z11 pro max and mecool deluxe primed and ready to go

Message on my stick says cannot connect to the home page try restarting your firestick. What I'm curious about is the I could still stream programmes. I turned off debugging and restarted my FS and then switched debugging back on and now I have my home page and still have my mouse toggle. My stick reflected the same as your software version etc. Not sure whether this was a fluke!

If yours is the same version as mine then you should be ok with ADB anyway, it only affects the software version above mine.

I ran the timeout script from my tablet and my firestick still goes to sleep after 6 hours. I confirmed the timeout was set to 0. Any ideas why this might be happening?

This timeout script will only work on fireos 7 if you have a different os then I am afraid it wont work.

The weird thing my Firestick max is 8.1 and the script works fine. I can even connect to adb still. I have another 4k that is also 8.1 and it still works. I don’t know if it makes a difference that the script was ran on both of these before it was upgraded to 8.

My fire tv 3rd gen pendant operating system 6 has also stopped adb connection. Mouse toggle and de-blote tool won't work HELP anyone got a fix for this. Updated system and it had broken firestick

Is there a way you can actually turn off Amazon updates? On my Nvidia Shields you can stop all updates unless you want them...if you know a way to stop Amazon updates It would be great to know?

Fire sticks and cubes into the bin. Mecool devices rock as well as Dcolor android sticks. Moved on for the better once Amazon morphed into Apple and started controlling everything on their devices. Good riddance

I am not having ang issues with my firesticks. 4k or Max. I own 5. Just finished loading new 2nd gen Max. No issues at all. I do use a vpn too. I watch anything at anytime. Dont be so quick to leave Amazon.
