Hi TDUK, obviously a very good video once again acc. to this feedback. Unfortunately I end at step 'Open Accessibility Mgr' (~4:00) with the msg 'Connection failed: Try re-enabling ADB Debugging in Settings. Ensure no other App is using adb...' Debugging is confirmed ON, multiple reboots of FTVS, no success. Any idea what could be the problem? Can I check if any other App is using/blocking ADB?

Amazon just blocked apps from connecting to ADB locally. ADB connections can only be made from remote devices now. Many, many powerful utilities like this one are now dead.

Hi Dr I've installed all 3 apps on my Fire TV Cuba but every time I try to use the accessibility manager I get 'Connection Failed' Try re-enabling ADB debugging in Settings. Ensure no other app is using adb. Disconnect your PC if connected via adb. Please install any pending System Updates. There is no app using adb - no PC is connected and all system updates are installed. ADB is on. Can you please help? Thanks

Its say connection failed.. try re enabling ADB Debugging in settings.ensure no other app is using adb. Please install any pending system updates... sorry but i didnt know how to do it ..thank you for helping

I suspect this method has been blocked by the recent Amazon updates which blocked local ADB access. You can still connect to ADB from another device but not from any app installed on the device itself. I have 7 FS4Ks, 2 Amazon Omni FireTV Editions sets, and one 2nd-gen FS4K Max, but Amazon just succeeded in pushing me to ONN boxes instead.

There are scores of videos here on KZbin showing you how to install Mouse Toggle on the Firestick but I couldn't find even one which acknowledges that Mouse Toggle simply doesn't work with Fire OS 8.1. You say you've got 'Unknown Sources' on .... but do you have 'ADB Debugging' toggled on? This Mouse Toggle app requires it.

It’s working🎉 but there’s a bug. When in mouse mode it doesn’t completely get out of Dpad mode. In mouse mode when we click on select, it clicks on last spot when dpad was disabled. How to turn that off?

'Enhanced Remote' (much nicer) ... 'Ambiant Experience' (meh) ... and whatever. NO BRAINER! And was down from $60 retail to $40 during Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales.
