At the moment just these two apps, it’s pretty much the norm now to only have this much free. if your firestick isn’t running smooth then a factory reset would be your next option.

I had too much buffering with my Firestick and I’m on gig internet hardwired. If you know of any others I would be happy to hear more. Failed at the first hurdle that there’s no uninstall option for the music app & I can’t get developer options to come up despite holding the middle button down for an eternity either. Any ideas as to how to stop it auto playing music when I use the microphone to find a film or series & then getting stuck in that annoying cycle of every time I pause, the music app kicks in & starts playing the music I didn’t want to hear in the first place as it’s found a track with the same name as the show I tried to find 🤦🏼‍♀️

To get Developer Options you need to push the middle button 7 times, holding the middle button down will not give you developer options. I am sorry I am not sure about the music app, but if anyone reading this knows the answer please feel free to post the answer.

Just my VPN and IPTV app. All others that I can offload are offloaded. Anything else I can do to get over a Gig of space? Since I’ve added the flash drive it does seems to be running better though.

Try restarting your stick after removing but holding the play/pause button and middle button and see if it now frees up the storage.

It will install on FS 4K Max, but you app comes up blank of Fire OS 8.1.0.6 I see a note that you stated Amazon has blocked ADB Commands which I guess your app uses to get into the root of the Fire OS. On which firestick. I have all firesticks from 2 gen to 4k. when you press the home, 3 lines it shows: Move, Move to front and Hide from your Apps. Any other suggestions. Amazon doesn't have uninstall on there unless its hidden like develop options. Which app are you talking about, the Amazon Music app is uninstalled by an Amazon approved method. With the Kids app Try restarting your device after removing the app you should then see the space recovered.
