I'd love to see a segment from an indie bookselling team not Amazon....

People can self-publish on Amazon. Amazon takes a cut and makes the book for you, and does the selling/delivering. You have to do the marketing.

I am sorry, but Amazon employees are the very last people in the world I would ask for book suggestions. No.

I listen to audio books everyday while doing household chores, walking the dog etc. I wish she'd covered some specific genre reads.

Why didn’t they talk about Martyr or Nuclear war. They talked about 5 books but only mentioned 3. Are these books too controversial?

We can try to read Rainy Girl in Amazon Book which take just a few minutes to complete

Annie Jacobsen is about the only one I would consider worthy of shelf space... I wonder how much publishers will pay these guys to promote this book.

No romance books were even mentioned.

Exactly, nothing genre specific. The largest categories are romance, Mystery/Thrillers etc. She didn't list one book I'd bother with.

Monae Doyle! Always good to come across a fellow Donoghuguenot outside of our little corner of booktube. Small world. CBS Mornings ain’t got nothing on CPL Radio’s Books of the Week!
