Amazon Fire TV Remote: Laggy, Delayed, Slow Response, Some Buttons not working? FIXED!

I show you how to fix an Amazon Fire TV remote controller that not working correctly like its expecting a lag, is delayed, slow response, only has one or several buttons working or is ghosting like it has a mind of it own. for me, I get the problem where it won’t recognize my remote or it’s laggy or glitchy with my remote or pops up the message. No remote detected and it’s horrible. I’ve had to start glitching and scrolling through applications uncontrollably, super fast unstoppable on one of my remote and I couldn’t get it to stop without unplugging the Amazon fire TV stick

My remote started moving by itself. It was sitting buttons down on my lap and it felt like electric waves pulsing so I flipped it over and it rocked on the rounded side and it pulsed. Think the receptors are activating the voice or something???

I unplugged the fire stick. This worked and retained all my passwords and settings. I was surprised I did not have to reload all the pws. I was also surprised it worked.

mine was lagging on KZbin, I tried this, and also taking apart the remote and giving it a good clean, and it didn't help it KZbin still lagged, I ended up, uninstalling the KZbin app and reinstalling it and now it works fine.

You would think that a brand new out-of-the-box generation 3, Firestick 4k Max and remote would work flawlessly. Nope! Having the same issues as my last Firestick remote: Laggy, Delayed, Slow Response, Some Buttons not working. I tried the fix you offered, and it would make the buttons work sometimes, but then they would stop working. Why isn't Amazon coming out with a fix for this, or a recall? Why does a brand new remote do the same thing as an older remote? There is no coffee or coke spilled on the new one! I just bought 3 of these new Firesticks, thinking they were going to give me better operation. Unless Amazon can tell me how to fix this problem, they are going to be returned and I will be going with Apple TV, or Roku.

My firestick remote was having issues until I realized that it was the wrong plug. Use the original plug now my remote is working. Kids like to switch firestick plugs to charge their devices so make sure the firestick has the original plug.

I did this because my Toshiba Fire TV started ignoring the remote, got all laggy, started randomly going to the home screen, and yesterday it turned itself on. New fully charged batteries. Power cycled the TV. "Spammed" the remote (as you termed it). NOW ALEXA pauses the TV, and thats all Alexa does.. only Pauses the damn TV...
