Thank you! These machines are good once you get it dialed in. I would recommend looking at the Facebook group (China leather shoe patcher) for additional information about leather work and tuning the machine.

Is the stitch length adjustable?

It is adjustable by tightening or loosening a screw under the levers.

I was given mine on the 29th of December, so in still getting used to it. ColouredPeas (the Latest Upgraded Version 10 -Bearings) Shoe Repair Hand Sewing Machine, Shoe Cobbler Machine with Nylon Line, Manual Mending for Shoes/Bags/Clothes/Quilts/Coats/Trousers… a.co/d/73MdjEZ I made the table for the sewing machine to have more control over the material. This video is just showing how well it's working for me. I took some dialing in, but it worked great for me! Hopefully this helps!

I respect your point. The reason I use this is because of the 360° walking foot, and this machine is just 100USD and still sews through heavy leather. This video was just to show it doing a simple task. Thank you for commenting!
