Hubby and I went there during Covid. We were the only ones there. it was truly amazing. We had a wonderful guide who took us everywhere this video showed us. We were unable to see any parrots at the clay salt lick. But everything else we were able to see. The cabins were perfect and luxurious. The food was so delicious and they were able to accommodate our individual diets, mine pescatarian and hubby’s chicken and fish. We saw many caiman and monkeys. The view from the top of the tower was incredible. When we were there it was their Mother’s Day so as tradition the women played soccer. They were amazing. The men played Ecquaball which was like volley ball but with a much higher net. The girls marry at age 15 and immediately start having children. They have a school on site so all of the children are able to read, write and do math. Because it was Mother’s Day, they had a dance and we were invited to participate. Hubby doesn’t dance but I love to so a man came over and asked me to dance and we cut a rug as they say. I had a great time and I highly recommend the trip.
