Hello Lucas ! Is it possible to exact target only plural but not single keywords? Is yes, please let me know how?

@11:00 - thx! curious, why would u not add 'bamboo garden fountain' as an exact match high bid? as its the most targeted specific term. Would u not need to bc you already have 'bamboo fountain' and 'garden fountain'? cheers!
@Nomadzppc Жыл бұрын
Yes we would add this eventually as exact match is always the end game for big keywords

Hi Lucas, I think your PPC videos are some of the best in KZbin. I wish I found them much earlier. Thank you for these great free invaluable tutorials. For a new product launch, when doing auto ppc, would you recommend putting those keywords from the exact and broad campaigns into the auto negative keywords? Should the exact campaign use mid or short tail keywords? How about the broad campaign? I assume I can email you about 1-on-1 coaching inquiry?
@Nomadzppc Жыл бұрын
Thank you! We do not recommend putting too many negatives in autos but yes move them into manuals

Another one:) Regarding single (1 word) keywords - would you use these in the aggressive exact and/or exact campaign? The rational would be that they obviously describe the product and have highest search volume. Also, what about phrase and broad match? I read that single keywords can be used in exact and phrase match (whereas exact makes more sense, since phrases should be 2 words to be specific) but should not be used in broad - whats your opinion on this?

These advanced questions are all worth testing and can vary largely based on products and price points.

hi lucas. what would be your high volume relevant keywords bids? 25% higher than the suggested bid or 25% higher than the 90% bid area?
@Nomadzppc5 жыл бұрын
25% higher than suggested. Another thing to remember is you will only pay more than the next highest persons bid. So if you're bidding $10 but the next guy bids $5, you will only pay a little over $5 (in theory).

love your vids, great content... can i ask your opinion on launching with PPC but with no to few review? ive heard people say you need at least 10 reviews - especially if its slightly competitive market, which mine is. I run a few different campaigns with very bids (much higher than recommenced) and get a few clicks and a few sales but i would expect much more... also i hardly ever make top of the search page placement ads (even with high ppc bids and high bid+ percents), how could be be getting out bid with such high bids and does reviews pay a part in this - especially CTR. Thanks so much
@Nomadzppc5 жыл бұрын
Launch strategies can depend on the category. Ad placements depend on sales history and conversion which you have little of. So you need to prove Amazon that you can convert on these keywords before being on top of page consistently.

@@Nomadzppc Thank you for your reply, very helpful!! much appreciated. whats your opinion on getting reviews before going heavy on manual PPC?
@Nomadzppc5 жыл бұрын
@@robjones8275 everyone has a different launch strategy. But I believe in starting PPC right away when you launch, with a low budget and once you get 1 review you can start being more aggressive. No need to wait for 5 or 10 reviews

Hello Lucas Kwiatkowski, would you mind doing a review video on merchant words? I'm curious to know your thoughts on its validity and why you choose it over other data mining softwares. Your videos are great!

Thanks for the feedback! I am definitely planning on doing some videos reviewing software tools in the future, stay tuned.

Hey Lucas, quick question: If you launch a product with 2 variants (differnt bundle of units, same product), would you create 1 aggressive manual exact match and put BOTH variant ASINs in one AdGroup OR would you just use the one you have more items in stock?
@Nomadzppc5 жыл бұрын
This will take some testing. You should split them up so one SKU is being targeted separately in each ad group. Until you know what your best selling variant is, you will have to test.
@julianw.56845 жыл бұрын
@@Nomadzppc Thanks! So putting both in 1 campaign (e.g. Agressive TOP 10 keywords) but in 2 adgroups is sufficient - no need to create a single campaign for each variant with the same TOP 10 exact keywords?
@Nomadzppc5 жыл бұрын
@@julianw.5684 Separate campaigns are nice so you can control budgets, but yes two ad groups should work fine.

Hi Lucas. thank you for the video. I have a question please. I’m not sure I understood what you said in the beginning. Do you suggest first running the auto campaign by itself for 7 to 10 days then extracting data from your report then running the auto again +2 manuals one broad and one exact The following week? Or do you suggest doing it the fast way and doing an auto along with a manual broad match the first week van scaling down too aggressive exact match afterwords? Thank you
@Nomadzppc5 жыл бұрын
If you take time to do your manual keyword research, you can do these at the same time. The auto should always be running and then you constantly add in new keywords to your manual and find those high volume ones to bid on in exact match.
@NissrineA745 жыл бұрын
Lucas Kwiatkowski awesome 😃 thank you. Yes I’ve been working on my list for a while and have a decent amount of info. Launching soon so I guess I’ll run both 😀

So I went live Tuesday and started auto. 2 days later I added manual broad and last night I added exact campaign at $50/d budget. I have not run report yet but I can see the impressions and ad spend: 5100 impressions mostly from auto and only $7 ad spend. Listing optimized. Great photos. No reviews yet. Not sure why no clicks. (?)

Just want to clarify, if we are running an exact match campaign there is no point to have negative keywords correct?
@Nomadzppc5 жыл бұрын
Correct! The only thing exact match will match to is that keyword and the plural of that keyword

@Nomadzppc5 жыл бұрын
Tough question. I always recommend starting PPC right away. But start off conservatively and then once you get 1-2 reviews you can start to increase bids. Because your conversion just won't be the same without any reviews and it will really skew the data!
