Amazing video - I was watching this while doing my weekly ppc campaign tweaks and got to about 6 minutes before i realized how much value was in the first 5 minutes alone I had to stop and watch after I was finished to take notes.

Love the vids buddy. Ive had alot of trouble keeping my Acos low. Im gettting better at it. Trying to keep the Acos below 50 percent at my product launch. Im also using coupons which work great to drive sales. Id say the amazon fees are the biggest hit for sellers. Very high fees. Keep the Vids coming. Great job.

Very helpful - just like all your videos! I look forward to each - Thanks again! Although, I do have a question, apologies if you've covered it elsewhere and I've missed it. Over time, we accumulate a lot of keywords for any one product; you want us to "trim the fat" and keep our lists small. So, what do you do with keywords that aren't converting to your satisfaction? Do you simply delete them, pause them.... And what specs do you use, specifically, as to when you do do (whatever it is you do)? You know, do you archive a keyword when it gets n-number of clicks and zero sales? Pause a keyword when it's acos reaches a certain limit? Delete a keyword when its click through rate is x over y-number of impressions? Etc.

Hi there, very informative video! For the "aggressive product targets" section, do you use Sponsored Product product targeting or Sponsored brand?
@Nomadzppc2 жыл бұрын
Sponsored Product targeting is the way to go, SB product targeting doesnt get too many impressions

Thanks Lucas for all your posts. Very insightful and useful as well. Do you have any suggestions on running ppc campaigns for low product cost products ??(under $10 product) I'm finding hard to run ppc cause of low profit margin and CPC is too high, and if I lower the bid not getting impressions. Appreciate any suggestions you might have.

Very tricky. I would just say put all spend into a very small list of high volume keywords you want to grow on, no reason to spread yourself too thin

"If you have a bunch of zero and one click keywords they hurt your campaign score." V true Lucas. I have two questions: 1) I'm trying to optimise my auto campaigns at the moment but can't see search terms where clicks= 0 because of the targeting set up (close, loose match etc) in the dashboard. Do you know where to find this? Frustrating as it's ruining my CTR/ relevance on my automatics. 2) If we have a successful KW that we have placed in a manual campaign, should we negative list that KW on the relevant automatic campaign?
@Nomadzppc3 жыл бұрын
1. Impressions = 0. Is this what you meant to say? 0 impressoin search terms will never show up in search term, as they need at least 1impression to show 2. I am NOT a fan of adding good words as negatives. Because autos may give you some good low hanging fruit placements, so keep it in the auto and once you put it in the auto it will just take over (dont worry about overlap)

@@Nomadzppc sorry clicks equal to 0!
@sidehustle83963 жыл бұрын
I have found that the search term report only ever shows terms where clicks is equal to 1 or more. When I total up the CTR for all terms with 1 click or more my campaign performance is healthy in terms of relevance. However the overall CTR of the campaign is poor and I can’t see what terms (with high impressions and zero clicks) are causing the low CTR which I think damages relevance of my product. I can see this through the targeting for the manual campaigns but the targeting for automatic only show close match, loose match etc so I can’t see what’s damaging the campaign. Hope that makes sense And understood re point 2!

@@Nomadzppc I am new to setting up profitable PPC campaigns. I didn't know there are nuances involved. I am going to purchase your in-depth PPC course because I want to be able to set up ppc campaigns for other amazon sellers and monetize them. Also, I like the insight your method gives. Variation listings PPC is particularly interesting and challenging I guess.

I still stand by all of these tips in 2022. Been making a lot of new videos lately on #5 about variations as I know almost every seller struggles with that. What tips do you think should be in my next top 10?
