Wow. In response to assessing the Resistance, Freeman counts them out, declares them nullified (even though Resistance is still resisting) and then basically says they’ll turn into terrorists as if that’s their default setting. Meanwhile Israeli soldiers are still dying in Gaza and the Resistance has not surrendered. Don’t let his measured tone convince you that everything he says is right or grounded in a balanced analysis of all parties involved.

If Isrl s visions for hza is realized, it will be very hard to resist on the ground. Or under it, for that matter. He might be right that it will have to continue outside of the territories. But it will not go away.
@iRelevant.47.system.boycott4 сағат бұрын
I heard it differently. That when internal resistance is no longer possible, it likely will turn into the form of terrorism externally. With the surveillance system we have in the west to day, where you can barely take a fart in secret, I don't see how it will come about.

I think the way things are about to pan out hammerass will not be “required “ in its current form. His point about Syria being significant for Russia simply isn’t true. Russia has other options in the Med and I think that they are going to take a back seat and watch while the west becomes embroiled in the forthcoming chaos that’s almost certainly going to unfold in Syria. Every fruitcake Islamist is going to procuring funds and packing bags for a trip to their new caliphate in Syria in the new year. Moscow sees this and knows that there’s going to be an exodus of Syrian refugees into Europe come next spring and summer. My money is on Moscow being the biggest winner and a war in the Middle East with players we never expected.

The problem with any negotiated treaty between Ukraine and Russia, is that if the USA is involved in negotiating the treaty than the treaty isn't any better then the paper it is written upon. The US has a legacy of not honoring treaties, so why would this treaty be any different, unless there is some trigger that requires the US to pay a heavy humanitarian price at the executive levels, if the US is involved in any violation of the contents of the treaty.

@45:00 there was an interesting run of articles regarding nuclear proliferation when Pakistan, North Korea were at breakout. Back then, the bête noire was Dr Khan. I doubt iran is missing much from the technology chain to oroduce nuclear bombs. They may choose not to because of a diplomatic fallout with important allies and neighbours.

@charlesiragui24732 сағат бұрын
@@egay86292 Yes, that's history. This term is common for the ruling caste of Ireland for many centuries. Definitely in parallel to the English colonialism elsewhere, maybe even a prototype for it. And I find it fascinating that the roots are Anglo Norman since the Normans were essentially acting as colonial master of England over the Saxon masses.

İ will sound naive , but where is soft power talks? Investment and business where ordinary locals met with expats can do much better than having just few critisizing non government organizations. West could rather build succesfull communities consisting of locals and westerners, so to find support and to represent real better alternative. Of course it is unlikely to think that foreigners will demonstrate stronger interest in development, but that used to be a case with that famous phrase: "carry burden of white people" that belongs to Kippling is i am not mistaken.
