This is what's happening. Her lawyers aren't researching anything, they're relying solely on Heard's claims and because she's incapable of telling the truth they keep getting caught out. This was just proven again by the lawyer claiming she wasn't having an affair with James Franco and that he lived in the building when they were seen on CCTV. It's been confirmed that Franco has never lived in that building and the footage seems to show her coming down to let him through the security door and up to the penthouse apartments. Amber lied to them and her team just repeats it without considering that they're going to get caught lying on her behalf.

Well the court case isn't a matter of who abused who, it's a matter of who slandered who, and whether there's enough legal evidence to prove slander with malicious intent. It's very possible that the jury won't rule in either party's favor just because of the extreme legal difficulty of proving malicious intent for slander. But in the public eye, AH is pretty boned by this point and that's already a win for Johnny.

I actually see this as a positive thing. This trial will reinforce to the world the idea of "innocent until proven guilty". So many times the second a woman accuses the guy of domestic abuse/rape/sexual assualt, people instantly believe her and think the guy is guilty until he proves he's innocent. And by the time he proves his innocence, his life might already be ruined (fired from his job, expelled from college, bullied/got beat up by others, being treated like shit by everyone, etc). There were so many cases like this and Johnny Depp's case will finally let people have the idea of sparing the guy until he is actually proven guilty. Of course woman who are actually abused will be doubted more, but that's the point of the law. The'll be doubted until they take it to court and that's where they are supposed to prove they are right. That is the only way things will be conducted fairly and everyone will achieve justice by the end.

Granted there were some BIG mistakes done by Amber's legal team but remember, they're relying on their own client in telling them everything good or bad so they can properly defend her case. Their mistake, not verifying what their client told them. When their client spins their own narrative and apparently lies to them as well, thats what they have to work with, her word. When their client gets on the stand, no matter how much they have prepared her, they have no clue what she will say. AH's legal team was reputable until now. JD's attorneys honed in on AH's behavior patterns and managed to stall AH thereby causing her to fumble over her words. That's the fun part to watch. Kudos to JD's attorneys for recognizing that.

I had a DV case where the prosecutor provided a stack of about 12 old police reports for prior DV incidents they planned to use against my client. Previous incidents are admisible, thanks to the O.J. case. How would a jury find someone not guilty when they hear testimony about 12 old incidents instead of just the matter at hand? These were faint photocopies of reports that were written in pencil in the first place. Almost impossible to read. Client told me there was never any DV. I scrutinized the reports and confirmed no visible injuries in any incident. I then subpoenaed each one of the LAPD officers to testify at trial. They work with partners, so there were two per report. The prosecutor freaked out that the courtroom was full of 24 offices who were ready to testify AGAINST the “victim.”

It's about time we talk about toxic feminity and the the biased laws in which the men are perpetrators by default and where women can confidently make statements like " you're a man , nobody will believe you were abused". It takes deep pockets as a man to even make your side heard. As a woman all you need to achieve the same effect is a couple tears and lies. So one of the body language analyst on youtube went in and pointed out that Amber shoots DEATH glares at her lawyers during interactions and the guy that called objection to his own question was visibly and audibly shaking, nervous, and generally behaving like a battered, fearful person the entire day. I think its extremely likely that they are receiving a lot of what Amber dishes to anyone else that she feels is beneath her and there to serve her.
