There is a single Ambur town in Tamilnadu,but Ambur Biriyani is available in the entire Tamilnadu and neighbouring states. The Name "Ambur Biriyani " either it should come Ambur or the Ambur cooks should prepare it.City wise you can change the name.A well wishers from Bangalore.😀😃

This place is ambur it's in Tamilnadu , it's famous for fantastic leather goods like shoes jackets belts and bags and other various accessories for both men & women it's being exported to various countries, many brands make contracts with local factories thus to supply them leather goods. And star briyani is not that good at taste compared to some hotels in that place they just had enough money to build many branches all over in name of ambur briyani You can't find mouth watering taste in some local shops .

Hyderabad Biryani is not like Shaadi biryani served in top Muslim weddings. Good wedding biryani at top Muslim weddings made by real Biryani bawarchi's knocks the pants of Hyderabad biryani. But it's not easy to taste it as no restaurant makes it. I took care of some of the finest high end restaurants in Hyd and even Prince Mukharram Jah, Nizam of Hyd did not care much for the Hyderabadi Dum biryani and told me so. But if you know no better then fine, you might swallow any thing and enjoy it. Its all bout your sophisticated palate and how much you know about food. So when someone tells me about his taste I say BS. Smile, and just walk away.
