Some 1980s songs conjure up distant postive emotions for me. Feelings of freedom and innocence and a happier life. A life covered in the distant dust of time but a life we would like to brush off and experience again perhaps? Nostalgia and a healthier life that was simpler, enjoyed for the moment and in the moment. A journey, a loved one, a place, a time. This song is one that takes you there, if only for a moment... One of the best voices of the 80s and overall. Alison Moyet brought a lot to the music industry with her talent and that powerful voice, as well as amazing songs which are timeless, beautiful and ageless. Great memories go along with every one of those amazing songs.

Enza Moscaritolo I was only 9, and wish I had appreciated the 80s as much as I do now. I used to tune into TOTP every Thursday at 7.30 after tomorrow's World

A rich and mature voice, from a lady who never had to strut about with barely any kit on, to show what talent that oozed from every vocal sound. Looking back and hearing this after so many years, shows that good music and good voices stay fresh for ever and a day.

Hah! I was just saying to one of my sons that Alison's voice talents are far better than all those "screeching harpies" whose only "talent" is the willingness to wear skimpy clothes and simulate sex acts on stage/video. Then I looked down the comments and saw that I'm not the only one who prefers actual vocal talent.

Very true! As the likes of the eye candy Beyonce and all her kind, will never even come close to such a quality of voice from a lady who has a natural attractiveness such Allison Moyet possesses.
