HELLO HELLO! Thank you for clicking on todays video! This one is a bit longer than usual but I tried to answer all of my most requested questions about my fitness journey. This video covers everything from my personal fitness journey, how to lose weight, and 7 tips for anyone trying to have their own health/fitness journey. just a quick reminder: even if you work out and eat the same as her, your body will probably look different since our bodies are all different and will respond in a different way. she gave great tips and advice though so nothing wrong with that, just a simple reminder since our body does not define our worth ❤

I'm 36 and only now started to take my fitness and nutrition seriously. I used to work out in my twenties, but I was never consistent. Only now I realised that I have to establish a sustainable fitness routine and eat clean diet, because aging is not a joke. I can see how my body has changed and how weak I became. So my point is, better late than never 🙃

Your before looks like my after but with loose and extra skin added . I was 110kg a year ago( 16 y.o then ) and since then I have lost around 45 kg ( 65 kg rn) which is alotttt and I am really proud of myself . I am in such a better place physically and mentally , felt like I finally found myself . I really appreciate your video and how well you spoke ❤️👍 Congratulations on your journey mate ✨

That’s so great congratulations I’ve just started my health/fitness journey I was 85 now I’m 78 haven’t lost no where near what you have but I’m planning on loosing 25kg more :)

I am double your age i love that you are aware of what you are putting in your body…Everyone journey is gonna be different remember your still growing and developing so as long as your in the lifestyle adjustments over the years are to come. Also remember that burnout happens as well as lack of motivation. Never give up this solid advice from you it’s amazing I hope this video reaches your age group 💙 Keep it up

I love, LOVE these tips!! This is so refreshing after seeing all of the unhealthy, restricting things on a daily basis. I've been on my health journey for a couple years. Occasionally I go through seasons where I get off track and I eat a lot of unhealthy foods. But the important thing to learn is it is never too late to pick yourself back up and start again! Another thing is in a normal week, I workout seven times, with two rest days. I'm big on listening to your body, so I'm not afraid or ashamed if I need to take it easy or scale the workouts. This schedule also motivates me to eat properly so my body can be sufficiently fueled and ready to go. I also want to add that everyone's body is so different. Amelie is doing an AMAZING job, but don't think your body will look like hers if you do what she does. It's all about finding what truly works for you, and where you feel your best and most confident. YOU CAN DO IT! :)

love this video! your fitness journey has been really similar to mine! I started w 2 to 3 workouts and not tracking. I recently started taking fitness a lot more seriously. I'm at 6 days working out(still at home) + macro tracking and for the first time in my life I can do pullups and have defined abs. I realized I definitely was NOT eating enough protein. Now at 150P a day, I feel SO much better. Tracking macros has finally made me feel in control and understand how my body works. Health is wealth !

Your "before" situation is so relatable!! All the tips you gave are realistic & implementable-I've been in a health & fitness rut recently and this video has been the gentle nudge I needed to start living healthier. Every video I watch about how to lose weight, or how I lost weight was like the person started of fat. I had the same problem of thinking I was big boned or too muscular because I’m an athlete. This is the first video that I’ve seen that someone my age and exact same problem. Thank you so much

Amazing! I wish I knew what you do at 16. I did the extremes, sure they worked, but they weren't sustainable. Now I do a balance and sustainable routine and am finally on the right path. Even though I am on my fitness journey right now, I still needed to hear this as a reminder - thank you! You have helped a lot of people with this video; losing weight isn't easy. For everyone watching this video, remember it took her 8 months to get where she wanted to be and she started off, in terms of BMI and probably body fat too, in the normal range. It took years to put on the weight for most of us, it will take years to loose it. It isn't a competition of who can loose the fastest. Take you time and enjoy being a work in progress! ❤

I'm restarting my fitness journey and recently found your videos. I'm old enough to be your mom (if I was a teen mom lol) and I have a 6th grade daughter. I'm gonna share your content with her. She just wants to be active and is embracing herself. Want her to see that she can also enjoy and see fitness as a positive self-care too. I think you have a really good attitude about it.

I totally get what you mean when you say you felt like you had to dress for your body , whenever I went out shopping I always found stuff I liked but never bought it cause I would be way too insecure to wear it , so I ended up wearing clothes I didn’t like at all just because it hid my body , I’m only at the beginning of my fitness journey so I still somewhat feel like this but your videos REALLY HELP ME , your energy is so positive , I’m so beyond grateful i found ur accounts , I cannot thank you enough , ilysm ❤️❤️

I had a similar journey as you and started focusing on home workouts and runs a lot when we went in quarantine and I don't think I saw a lot of difference then because after a few months once school started back I gave up on it a little and only worked out once in a while but again now in summer I started focusing on myself and plan to continue it so thank you for the video and it really helped to know that we're on the same boat some further than the others :)

I was doing a food plan my sister put me on that was working great for me. Completely stopped when I had Covid and now I can’t get back into it. It’s hard finding things that work. But I keep trying. And I work on exercising my mind and body. And building healthy habits. That have been making me feel really good and confident lately. And it helps to make habit building fun.

I’m 16 and honestly I felt like as a young girl maybe I shouldn’t be focusing on my fitness journey or “eating healthier” if that makes sense b/c I usually see older women like 20 above going to the gym etc and because I’m just a kid or young, but finding out your my age gives me so much more confidence to start my journey because I know there’s girls my age doing it as well and making it a lifestyle. 💖💖

As one of those older 20 year olds, take it from me! start at whatever age you are now it is SO IMPORTANT to build thes habits now because when you get older you have the ability to make so many excuses build the resiliency now.

I love weights. I love cardio. But weights just give me a different feel. The toning it does and the muscle definition it brings, I love it. I’m currently losing weight. Well, I’ve lost weight already, about 18 pounds. I started incorporating weights and I love it. Still do cardio of course but lifting is amazing. Loved this video❤️

I absolutely loved this video! Everything you described is the key to fitness. Also on the sugar free front, for my IBS/digestive issues ladies out there, this might be a trigger for you so I recommend just being more aware of your portions of syrups/sugar,etc :) xx

Congratulations on your fitness& health journey! It's nice to Such a young girl with a good head on her shoulders who looks at things through such a healthy lens. Good 4 you girl! I grew up a strong healthy athlete too who loved food n never really cared about what I ate. I started developing, getting curvy & menstruating early. So YES that absolutely affected my self esteem & body image. So I started dieting & exercising & became super fit. However my downfall was my perfectionism & extreme nature. I took things too far, nothing was ever good enough & I developed a full blown eating disorder. I struggled immensely for many years on & off w/ Anorexia & bulimia. I have had months & years of full recovery & health, but I still have relapses. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. So my advice to you & everyone is to be cautious & keep things in check because things can become unhealthy in subtle ways. By the time you or others realize it's too late. I think you're gonna be ok just be aware!

Tips 4 me: Stop eating out as often Saying no to unhealthy food is ok Consistency is key It takes time to see results Attempt to achieve a natural calorie deficit Lifting gives you most results in body definition Stay as active as possible in rest days Focus on how you feel My split - tues, wed, thurs, Upper body, lower body, upper body Next week Lower body, upper body, lower body

It's really impressive that you're only 16, but already understand the important of having healthy relationship with food and your body, i also don't think your diet is too strict and you've just grown loving workout so i think that's why your body toned a lil bit faster. I usually hate watching fitness journey videos because I have add, and people usually say boring stuff that most people already know in such a boring way. But your video was so enjoyable to watch, also we're the same way and I hope to get lean!
