They are slowly getting noticed for their potential, and if they were to start talking of a bit, it sure would help with the aftermarket parts availability. I mean they don't make much at all for this thing. Guys who wheel them have/had trouble with lift kits, suspension etc. If you owned a salvage yard and wanted to bet on it, these might be a good engine to hoard for a few years, as they could go up in value. THE TRANSMISSION... BAUM...Bam..bum. I owned a 09 TB with 386k original miles on engine and tranny. I bought it with 70k, and drug a 5x8 enclosed job trailer all around the country with it for work for 13 years before I was t-boned and it was totaled. I never changed the tranny fluids, and I could have been better about changing the oil when it told me too, but that thing never broke down on me, or left me stranded over something simple. It was the longest i had ever owned a vehicle and not only the most reliable, but possibly the most reliable of any one i know personally. I think those trannys went into so many vehicles, that your going to hear complaints, just because of the amount of them on the street. I bought a 2500 diesel truck from someone i knew immediately for work, and last year i came across a GREAT deal on an 06 TB LTZ (loaded) so I bought it. I don't need it. But I wanted it. Because it seems that if all else failed, I can trust that the damn thing will just always get me where i'm going. Hell my newish truck shut me down in the first year due to injector issues, lol. My 09 was the base model with cloth seats, but it was that dark blue. The newest one is a pretty red, but it is that 2 tone with silver bumpers and flairs, but it's all leather with a DVD player. lol. So I am going to start doing the things i never got the time to do to the other one. So i'm and old motocrosser guy whose first 4 vehicles were Big blocks, therefore mud + hp = my jam. I'm in the process of learning the best way to convert my wheel patterns to GM truck, and give her a 3 & 2 inch lift to level her up right now. The only way to good healthy power, is by stuffing her with some air. But with parts availability and my welding skills limited to "I could probably make that work" on trailers, it might be a little while for that. I just don't have it in me to pay someone to do my build for me? My ego would keep calling me a cuck. lol. Maybe NOS is what I need, because it's plenty enough power until I want to be foolish, but I still crave being foolish quite often. I'm 54 a bought a CBR 600 at the beginning of summer. lol, I already have 2 nice cruisers; foolish. Lol. You did put together a nice little road map to follow in this video. Thanks and you got a new sub.

Thank you for your input and sharing your experience. Nitrous funny enough is something I don’t think much about though I do understand the on demand power. It would be brilliant for what you are into and convenient. Reading your story makes me want to get one of these even more . And every time I am SS trailblazer or Silverado I acknowledge it, but when I see a I6 trailblazer I smile. And I will for sure consider grabbing a few engines for the future value of the ameri-barra.
