That was a P36 Curtis Hawk the Chinese purchased for Chennault. The P40 didn't begin delivery until June 1940. The first 100 Flying Tigers were P40B. The replacements were P40C and then finally P40E. The P40E had six 50 cal and could carry 700 lb of "ordnance" (1 x 500 lb fuselage and 2 x 100 lb wing). I've seen photos labeled "14th Air Force" (Flying Tigers) of a P40C with "rigged up" carrier on the drop tank mount and 3 x 70 lb homemade fire starters. I suspect the photos actually predate the "14th Air Force". I built Monogram models of the P40B and P40E "Flying Tigers" planes as a kid.

Hi, Dave. If you like the national anthem, PTX has been doing a few football appearances. They modified their original "Sing" for Thursday night football. They were asked to sing the national anthem for a college game, it's on ESPN, wearing red, white, and blue. And they just sang it on Christmas day this year.
