I agree... educating children that individual with those characteristics are genetic anomalies and the result of a genetic mutation resulting in the individual being sterile and unable to reproduce naturally. Educating children of the rare medical conditions, secondary complications and the accompanying psychological disorders would help children better understand how destructive feeding the delusions of mentally ill people by ignoring their medical condition instead of helping to treat it. I could easily see how the suicide rate of those individuals would reduce instead of continuing to increase.... Lies ....regardless of how nice or sweetly you convey them... are still lies... I don't know if this is a factor but for me, at a fairly young age, in my 30's, I began to look forward to the blessing of grandchildren. For me it was a strong motivating and civilizing factor. This made divorce an impossibility. I wanted to experience them side by side with their grandmother and have. Now in our mid 60's the notion of Granddaddy and Grandmommy not being together is unthinkable. Nothing but death can separate us and that only for a time. We need to teach our children about the beauty of the intergenerational legacy and to consider the almost casual attitude the culture has toward divorce to be a destructive and evil thing.

@@angru_arches Good question, here's some thoughts (assuming you actually want to know). First, other than conversations that I have personally started, I've actually only heard a handful of Christians criticizing Tate, and they've all been on KZbin. So there's really not that many Christian men "taking up arms." But, is it a bad thing if all Christian men recognized that what Tate did and is doing is wrong? After all, the Bible is pretty clear about this stuff. Second, perhaps the reason why I find myself criticizing Tate is because I am a man and I know a man should know better. So maybe it's sort of a tribal thing, because I am a man, Tate is a man, Tate is taking advantage of young men and Tate is not a good influencer for men. Third, there have been numerous criticisms of feminism by Christians over the years. Go back and check out some of Dr. James Dobson's talks on Focus on the Family. The problem is that people have not recognized some of the subtle ways that feminism has been affecting society and the church world. Interestingly enough, it has been women who have been sounding the alarm by educating the world on the errors and history of feminism (Rachel Wilson, Rebekah Merkle, etc.), which brings me to the fourth consideration. Tate's situation has been made very public. His huge following has made him famous and his recent big interviews have caught the attention of people like me, whom wouldn't otherwise know anything about him. Anyone who's famous is going to be criticized, including women. If you go look through Doug Wilson's videos, you'll see some. He's certainly not the only one with critical commentary. Kamala Harris' views and actions have received plenty of criticism, but she is out there in the public's eye. Fifth, women have always been considered the weaker sex and Christian men have always considered themselves to be obligated to protect them as such. Chivalry was born in a Christian society. This plays out in different ways. On one hand, we see Tate as someone who needs restrained because he's literally confessed to, and advocated for, the exploitation of women. On the other, we tend to exercise too much self restraint when it comes to criticizing the actions of females, and perhaps to a fault.

They want to condemn Andrew Tate, Kevin Samuel etc. for doing their best to fight for men’s right, but did nothing for men’s right when it has been under attack for decades. It’s disgusting, and it’s the reason Christianity in the west is a joke.

Great interview! As a woman, I always thought that the desire to have babies was only a characteristic of being a woman (this in spite of the narrative of feminism). But what I heard from Gilder was a strong case for the men’s desire to also have babies, which in Gilder’s view is part of a man’s viability into the future, and works out the positive and constructive side of masculinity. Masculinity, sounds to me, is the force that drives men to build a future even through their children. Men are builders. We need men to build, and build until the Lord returns! No wonder the narratives of today seek to destroy men’s building things up and instead deceive society into thinking that we don’t need men to be men.

My introduction to Gilder was the book Information Theory. This was a read for a book club and honestly I can remember one concept out of the whole book. He was able to hop on the online book club a couple times and he seemed like such an interesting fellow and very intelligent.

Back in the early seventies when I was in high school, it was announced by the homosexuals that they are out of the closet. I was not a Christian and did not know what that meant, but I knew it wasn’t good. Most of us were confused that his was happening. Our world sexually has been in a downward spiral ever since. Now we as Christians are told to be quiet and get in the closet. The Lord will have the final say on this issue.

I acknowledge I have not listened to the whole video but I'm about three quarters of the way through and they are talking about how it used to be younger marriages for the average. I would just like to point out that before that in the 19th and 18th century it was incumbent upon a responsible young man in a responsible family to establish himself and as the Proverbs puts it establishes Fields or fire assets or fight in some wars so he can bring home some booty to help support a family. Our founders like John Adams etc wouldn't be thinking about marriage until they had already established their practice for some sort of merchant occupation and that generally wouldn't happen until after they were age 28. At that point time you would have young women who would be brought up in finishing homes and would be debuted and eligible bachelors would be invited and courtships would be started. Just think if we had a bunch of young men who actually had occupations who had enough money to build a house for their beautiful wives who have been trained to operate the household like a Abigail adamswood and there was enough money to keep things going. just think of all the arguments about money that would not be happening. Proverbs says not to build your house until after you establish your fields. And proverbs 31 talks about how a woman has been given a household to manage. I put the two together and would posit that young men should not be thinking about women till they can build a house without debt to give to their new bride.

I think we should remember that some of this stuff, while it may be true, is based on natural reasoning and observation. For instance the part about women having a leg up sexually, therefore men have to try to prove themselves through external acts, like going to the moon. We just need to keep in mind, that while interesting, this is not strictly biblical, and is taking a departure from an explicit commands of scripture.

I guess it was Constantine that changed Christianity from a choice to a requirement. Nobody comes to Jesus against their will. Only those who are willing come to Jesus. This is how we get the Inquisition and other violations of the commandments Jesus gave us. Onward Christian soldiers. People going to war to kill their non-believing neighbors in Jesus' name. Of course, it's always been more about money and power than anything else. This is not a real model for following Jesus. Jesus did none of these things and He warned us all to also not do them. So, we say we're following Jesus, but in truth, we're going in the opposite direction from Him. Salvation is the goal of Christianity, not nationalism. If the majority of people in a nation truly follow Jesus, then, that can save said nation. What we intend though is much different from that. We are going to legislate sin out of this nation. This has historically produced the most profound corruption of the faith that has ever been accomplished. It will be no different here in the U.S.
