The number of pre-orders was completely irrelevant. Lordstown simply ran out of money. And their truck cost more to build than it made on a sale.

That's pretty normal for a startup- Rivian still loses ~$30k on every truck even today. The preorders were seen as a metric of demand, which is needed to create the volume for any sort of positive gross margin.

Who are these guys - why this video? So out of place for their content- and expertise? This BEV demand was also stated by Ford for the Lightning - basically the same numbers - you have to realize that there were no BEV pick up trucks at this time - no research in the subject - Burns was on the bleeding edge breaking new ground - nobody knew anything - demand for BEV fleets is still there - they are rationed trucks to 50% of previous orders - duh - not sure what the motivation here is - makes no sense - FOXCON was using LMC staff to produce the Endurance - they had no BEV skills at all - deeply flawed report - not accurate IMO - BTW the Endurance was nominated for Truck of the Year - came in second - the truck is a sleeper - sports car with a truck body - BTW Burbs has purchased LMC IP and Assets...

Mxux, Aren’t you the guy that advised your followers that Foxconn needed LMC and that your followers should invest in RIDE? When I look at some of your older videos it’s amazing how wrong you were about so many things regarding Lordstown Motors and the Endurance. That’s probably the reason they attract so few views.
